Lovely site, well thought out and set out. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pitch we stayed on was flat and had plenty of space. Each pitch was separated by a hedge which gave it some privacy, but it still felt open. The whole site was landscaped beautifully.
We were given directions to our pitch at the gate and met there with a smile! There is a shop and cafe on site, with the option of breakfast and dinner served in the cafe or delivered to your pitch.
The toilets were clean, warm and spacious and the showers were excellent, modern and free.
The site is not far from the main road so there is a bit of road noise, but still it was relaxing and peaceful. The area is nice, with plenty of walking routes and easy access to Buxton.
It was our first time here and we will certainly return.

Its a nice site with a great shower and wc block, infact the best i, v seen on a site but it lacks something, the nearest pub is too far away to walk to and there's no public footpaths within walking distance for the dog to run free on. The site also seems to be below the flight path of Midlands Airport, there's a plane comes over ever 15 mins or so plus there, s a train line at the rear of the site. A nice site but not for us.

Yet again Jan and family have made the holiday magical. Nothing is ever to much trouble and most are treated as friends. We absolutely love Cloverfields and will go back time and time again. The cafe is now up and running and you are bound to put weight on as the food is fantastic and the portions very generous. The shop has most basics but Buxton is only a few minutes away. The shower block and toilets are better than a lot of hotels we have stayed in with shower gel provided. The dog walks have poo bags and gloves (so there is no excuse for leaving mess). A small fishing pond, golf nearby, walking. What more could you want. Many thanks Jan and family.

The owners and family made our stay perfect, they where very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. The shop had all we needed and the cafe served great food, they should get an award just for food and service, you could also have your breakfast or evening meal delivered to your van. The toilets where above standard very clean with music playing, very nice touch. Showers also very clean.
The fishing was good, we didn't have to pay to go fishing so we put some money in the children's box, they help to keep the site tidy, another good idea. The pitch was in alcoves great for privacy.
If you are looking for adult only this is the site to book, short drive to bakewell and buxton. We wii definitely return. Thank you to you all at clover feild. You work very hard and long hours but this is what makes your site a cut above the rest.

First time at this site and would say that this is the best camp site we have ever stayed at. Pitches are large and with privacy from hedges around. Toilet and shower facilities are immaculate. Only one cubicle and 2 showers at the lower block, but plenty more at the upper newer block 50 yards away. The teapot café offers breakfast rolls and a full English at weekends and tea most nights of the week. All the meals we had there were delicious and plentiful. The owners are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We will be back.

We have just spent 7 nights at this lovely site, our first visit to an adult only site, it proved to be everything everyone on here has said it was!
We were greeted by Jan who showed us to our lovely super tent pitch. It was a very good size with our own electric, water and dustbin/recycling. There was also a light located near these. We were asked if we would like a newspaper delivering and directed to all the facilities and then left to set up.
All of the super pitches are large with plenty of room for our monster of a tent and car and still lots of 'garden' space.
Once set up we ordered food from the café, this was delivered to our tent at an agreed time, this is fantastic for us dog lovers as you do not feel discriminated against and can still get exactly the same food, all served on nice crockery, delivered and even set on your table. The food was delicious too.
They are currently halfway through building a new facilities block on the top tier where we were. The gents was open but the ladies were using what I understand will be a disabled wet room once the building is complete. It is only a short walk to the other toilet/shower block and these facilities, likewise, are first class. The thoughtful additional items like hand cream, cotton wool and tissues, not to mention a bowl of sweets, is a lovely extra.
What struck us was the wonderful peace and quiet and how friendly everyone was. Obviously we didn't use the café but it looked lovely, the shop is very well stocked and very reasonably priced with some of the items we saw priced at less than we have paid in Tesco's!
My husband used to fishing lake which he said was good enough for a recently stocked lake and will only get better.
The park is in a lovely location with Bakewell, Buxton and Castleton all within a half hour drive. If you have a dog, the Pavillion Gardens in Buxton are a lovely place to go, Bailey had a lovely swim in the river that runs through the park, the landscape is beautiful and you can sit and have a cup of tea or an icecream.
Jan, Steve, Jodie and the rest of the family are doing a fantastic job at Clover Fields and we've already decided to go back again next year. I'm sure the place will go from strength to strength with their hard work and excellent customer service.
Thank you very much!

We have just returned from this site and I can only add to how helpful and friendly everyone was. The facilities are immaculate, underfloor heating, spotless all as stated by other campers, there is an however, the gents only had one lavatory with two urinals and the shower rooms(there are two)are unisex this lead to a queue on two mornings and unfortunately for me I had to clean out the sink after a gentleman had shaved. We were pitched on the lower level so I do not know if the same facilities are there. The road noise was bothersome as it started around 4. 30 am for the quarry and also a railway line somewhere. The pitches have hedges around and the other campers fenced themselves in with windbreaks! A great site but a pity campers not friendly. Would go again though, we get up early!

A very good site top marks, the cafe is top quality, very good menu, every meal we had was excellent and plenty of it, free top up on tea and coffee. Good Pitches with plenty of room on each pitch with hedges at the sides. Lovely Family all ways happy to help,
Good clean showers with loads of hot water.
All the facilities are good.
Its all the extra little things that also makes Clover Fields
Special.
We will be returning soon.

It is difficult to add anything more to what has already been said! Clover Fields is the best campsite we have ever stayed at by far. The facilities are brilliant, from the well stocked shop to under-floor heating in the showers. But the stand-out feature was the great welcome we received on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble.
At the time of our stay they were offering evening meals which were extremely good value. And they can be delivered to your tent! Amazing!

My Partner Jan and I have just spent 8 nights at Clover fields and we both agree it was the best break we have had in a long time. The site is excellent with large, level and private pitches. The toilets and shower rooms are spotless (the showers have underfloor heating) There is a cafe with a lovely choice of food and a site shop which appears to sell everything. (I was particularly impressed with the 'peak' ales) The owners are lovely people and we were made to feel very welcome. A special thank you to Jan for finding us a local caravan accessories guy who had the correct part to fix our shower tap in the caravan [Peter at Peak Leisure]
I can highly recommend Clover fields and we will definitely be returning to this really lovely part of England. , Thank you John and Jan
