The owner, Jan was very welcoming. She never stopped working from morning till evening.

Facilities were spotless and pitch was huge. The bonus being a bin on your own pitch.

The cafe is currently closed but hoping to re open spring 2023.

Close to Buxton and we also visited Bakewell and Matlock.

We will definitely come back to this site.

Jan was a welcoming and friendly hostess.

Our motorhome pitch

( with water on pitch) was very spacious. It was sectioned off by hedges giving you privacy.

Excellent clean toilets ( with a little light music playing softly in the background) and good sized showers.

Clover fields ( Adult Park since 2011) is everything you need for a peaceful getaway in Derbyshire.

Bus stop close to site.

We have just had three nights away at this fabulous adult only site.

We took our dogs with our touring caravan and there were lots of different site walks for us to do including a private dog walking field.

Shower block and toilets Immaculate. Pitches with services and lovely grassy area to sit out. So many friendly campers!

Lovely little pool with beautiful lillies! In the surrounding area there was a fab farm shop nearby plus it was extremely close to Tagg Lane Dairy.

Gorgeous Jersey icecream which was a late afternoon treat. Days out Chatsworth House sculptures in the parkland (£5 for parking for whole day), Ilam Park, Dovedale, part of Monsal trail, Youlgreave, Buxton and Bakewell.

Would really recommend.

We would go back in a heartbeat.

Cafe and shop were closed but we didn't need it.

The owners were so friendly and helpful.

1st visit to this lovely site and definitely won't be the last.

Jan is a wonderful hostess with a great sense of humour and nothing is too much trouble.

Facilities are excellent and the pitches are a very generous size.

Had a lovely peaceful stay. Very highly recommended.

At the secure gate were given directions to our pitch where we were met and given gate code and brochures. It was a very warm welcome.

And the pitch was a very good size, surrounded by hedging with personal bin and electric and water supply.

Toilets and showers were spotless. Perhaps a few more would be an improvement.

Would definitely book again.

There are not so many tent reviews on here so here goes. We stayed for a long weekend. Jan could not have been a better Hostess with a welcoming “can do” approach and a great sense of humour. This approach makes the all important "first impression".

The site does not disappoint in any way. The tent pitches were spacious, and sectioned off by hedges to aid privacy. It was a great advantage having your own tap.

The ground on our pitch was ideal, the grass was short and the pegs went in firmly without the hinderance of stones. All pitches have electricity, but we didn’t use it as we are used to “off grid” camping.

The shower and toilet blocks we’re immaculate in their 5 star decor. We enjoyed the peace and serenity of the site, this allowed us to just sit down and relax. Ideal!

We also found plenty to do in the surrounding area. A reassuring aspect of the booking conditions is that a booking can be deferred within the same year should the need arise.

An excellent facility given the uncertain times we live in, and a feature others would do well to emulate.

Departure time is 12. 00, which is also handy if you are a tent user as there is a lot of “uncamping” to do.

We find 10. 00 departure of some sites a stressful end to the holiday.

In short we cannot recommend highly enough, but don’t take our word for it - just take a visit.

Lovely site, really friendly welcome from Jan who was more than happy to help us upgrade to a fully serviced pitch and then to provide us with an extension hose to reach the tap!

Lovely and quiet, facilities immaculate, spacious pitches, adults only, fishing pond on site.

Close to local attractions.

Dogs welcome.

Really lovely was sad to leave

Owner very helpful as we needed a longer electric cable and she provided us with one.

Very quiet as there were not very many people there, some gossip of owner selling up?

Bus stop just outside the site to Buxton.

There's a train track behind where we were staying (fully serviced area) and though not often a train went by in the early morning and through the day.

Toilets were clean and tidy but we used our shower in the caravan so can't comment on them.

Elsan point was the pits as it didn't drain properly so usually opened the lid to find other campers turds floating on top (nice).

Shop on site not open when needed and café closed.

So lovely to be back at Cloverfield and to see the lovely Jan, as always a great welcome and beautiful pitches.

So peaceful.

Everything about the site is so clean a real home from home.
