First outing in our Folding Camper and what a site! Chose Clover Fields as it is adults only and accepts dogs. Initially welcomed onto the site by Jodie who was very encouraging of our attempt to reverse our camper into position. She gave us an overview of where everything was and then left us to get settled. Wandered up to reception-shop-cafe and met Jan who set up a 'tab' for our pitch so that we could purchase things through the week and pay on card at end of stay. My other half is veggie and the shop has a fab variety of frozen veggie products for sale (quorn & Linda McC). Jan explained they can deliver meals to your pitch (handy for those who don't want to leave dogs alone), so we ordered 2 Sunday roasts (one with nut roast) which was huge, delicious and a bargain at £7. 50 each when you can't be bothered cooking. Breakfast next morning also fab (veggie version had quorn sausage and bacon). Stephen does a fine job in the kitchen and delivers some tasty grub. Toilet block is immaculate and heated with nice little touches like hand cream and cotton wool. The showers are big walk in wet rooms with powerful showers. Only downside is the busy road as vehicles travel really fast down it making lots of noise, however the passion that the owners have for making their touring park that little bit more special than others easily outweighs the road issue. Without a doubt, we would visit again. Thanks for a lovely relaxing week away!

Just had another amazing weekend at cloverfields, as always everything was fabulous, tried a super pitch this time up on the top level and was brilliant, we booked for tea in the café Friday night and can say the fish chips and mushy peas bread and butter was super scrumptious, {needed a lie down after, }beautifully prepared by Stephen, jan and Jodie, they are lovely friendly people nothing is to much trouble for them, didn't try the breakfasts but told we must try it, maybe next visit we will, toilets and showers immaculate and shop on site delivers newspapers to your pitch if you wish, the shop is very reasonably priced and stocks nearly all your essentials if you forget anything, well worth a visit to this adults only sight will be going back very soon, cant wait,

This must be the most luxurious, peaceful and beautifully laid out camp site that we have been so privileged to stay at. The welcome and pleasant hospitality of the reception lady and the well stocked shop with its very inviting restaurant adjacent ticked all of our boxes!
We have recently been training our fairly new addition to the family, ( a ten month old puppy, a German Shepherd dog, Kasey) and we were so delighted that every thought had been taken to accommodate our bundle of fur and fun. The facilities are excellent. We were on Pitch 5 and its proximity to the Dog Walking Area and the Shower and Toilet Block were so convenient.
On the subject of all Washroom utilities, showers and toilets, we were so astonished to find the luxury of underfloor heating and 5 star toiletries provided. Everything was spotlessly clean and you have really raised the standards of camping compared to bygone years!
We loved the 'Capability Brown' landscapes. So really lovely. Our only complaint, just one. You have spoilt us for all other competing sites AND we could easily have stayed a lot longer. After just a few days on many other camping sites, we are only too ready to pack down ! Well done to all of you for so much thought and design and planning making our stay so wonderful.
Most sincerely and congratulations,
Jean and Michael Potter on Hayling Island.

This is by far the best site we have visited so far. Well deserving of its 5* status. The family who run the site are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Spent a blissful 7 nights here and the showers and facilities are better than some 5* hotels! Can highly recommend the food in the café too - not overpriced and all home cooked! Well stocked shop which isn't overpriced too.
Site fees are real value for money and much less than others with less facilities.

I had thought I wouldn't find a better site than the one I reviewed in Arisaig but this just pips the leader board. A 2nd new shower block is just up and running. There's not that many homes with facilities as good. The food at the cafe is real vfm as is the high quality food sold in the shop. A most brilliant site. And its child free!

Had a great weeks break recently at clover fields, campsite is a lovely family run business who can't do enough for you, newspapers delivered to pitch if you wish and a breakfast to die for also delivered to your pitch if you wish or you can simply eat at their cafe/restaurant, all the facilities (toilets, showers and cafe )are immaculately clean and very modern as is the whole site to be honest. They also have an extensive on site Shop and prices very good in my experience for site store, would definitely stay here again when visiting area again. Many thanks clover fields.

We stayed here for 7 nights in June. We chose this site for the location as we are keen mountain bikers and also for the fact that it is adult only and we wanted a peaceful, relaxing holiday. The site is fantastic, very friendly and helpful owners.
Shop and restaurant good and THE best shower blocks ever!
Some nice ideas, music in showers, toilets and wash room, individual hedged pitches with own water supply, electric and bins. Would be struggling to find anything wrong at all but if I HAD to find a negative it would be that the bins are only emptied once a week on a Friday, therefore when we arrived Saturday lunch time, the previous 'residents' rubbish had filled the dustbin already! I know, 'get a grip' it's only rubbish but it did cause a problem by the end of the week as we ran out of room! All in all, a magnificent site and we SHALL be returning.

They've done it again. We always come back to this site, albeit, for a few days here and there as we only live about an hour away.
They've now added a restaurant which is open Friday/Saturday/ Sunday and they serve breakfast, lunch and evening meal. I had the evening meal with them. You have a choice of about 4 meals including a veggie, but for me this is adequate. Its also licenced so you can have wine or beer at the same cost as you would buy it in the shop, so its cheap. The food was lovely and lots of it. I didn't bother with breakfast as I'm not a breakfast type of person, but my OH did and he said it is really nice and you can have anything - he had a full English on the first day and just 2 poached eggs on the second day.
The site is just as nice as usual, but there is now a third terrace at the top and another toilet block has also just been finished, just need finishing touches to it.
I cannot and will not fault this site. Their welcome is brilliant - like home from home - its quiet, and personally, I don't care what the weather is like. This time it was sunny but windy - but who cares when you're chilling out, which you certainly do on this site. Well done to Jan and the team, will see you next time:). For customer service, pity I can't give it 11 out of 10

This was our first visit to the site and we stayed for 5 nights. We can only repeat the information given in other reviews, ie; lovely, helpful, and sociable owners who took care of our needs. Fantastic café/restaurant food cooked by Stephen, helped by his wife Jan. Well stocked, reasonably priced shop and replacement gas bottles. Not forgetting Jodie, Tom and Jessica (the family) who all had a hand in helping to keep customers satisfied and the park facilities in excellent condition. Food (breakfasts & dinners) and newspapers can be ordered and the owners will deliver the items to your van at no extra cost if you don't feel like eating in the café.
The bays on the lower terrace (where we were sited) have well established hornbeam hedges for privacy, but that didn't stop us chatting with fellow 'vanners' most days. The facilities are the best we've ever come across on a caravan site so far and the little extra personal touches in the ladies block on the middle terrace helped make it feel more like home. The owners talked of plans to add a terrace onto the café area in time but are currently building an extension to the facilities building on the top terrace.
All in all, the site gave us a feeling of peacefulness and we would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. We will most definitely stay here again.
