 We used this site due to its close proximity to the a1 for an overnight stay
Predominately seasonal pitches
Our pitch was flat and 10 amp ehu
The toilet block was very dated although clean
Reception had a few basic provisions if required and around 25 min walk into Tuxford where we found a couple of pubs and takeaways
£30 for an overnight stay
Used the fish and chip shop which was very good

Excellent quiet peaceful site, just 10 mins off A1.
Clean facilities and pleasant staff.
Easy reach for Newark and Nottingham.
We have stayed here a few times to break the long journey from Cornwall.

Lovely warm welcome from Mary and co at orchard park!
Great atmosphere over the bank holiday weekend.
Nothing is ever too much trouble and the site is ever evolving with the addition of new park homes.

Firstly a warm welcome from the warden on a soaking wet evening. Pitches are of varying sizes and at first looked to be very busy for this time of year, It soon became apparent that most of the vans on site were there for the season and unoccupied,
There is a large Orchard on site and a good dog walk,
The general appearance of the site could do with a face-lift, one or two derelict vans spoil the appearance of what could be a very attractive location away from it all,
The shower block was adequate but will soon want updating, The information kiosk could do with a sort out as there are still leaflets from 2020 on some of the local attractions,
All in all a good site for families with excellent facilities for children with a spacious playground and with keyfob barrier entry security, a safe environment,
Prices are fair enough but to charge £2 a night for a pet dog / cat is an add on a little beyond the pail.
No recycling facility one bin fits all, a pleasant enough experience

What a lovely place to stay! A very welcoming and very clean toilet and shower block!
Would 100% come again and will look to book again in the future!

The Staff are friendly and helpful particularly Mary who lives on site and is very welcoming, and managed to fit us on as we were last minute booking.
The site is clean and tidy and maintained, and has a shower block etc.
Highly recommend.

Lovely site.
Toilet and shower area clean and free hot showers.
Great kids play area and orchard to explore.

A very well run site with very pleasant warden and owner.
The site was a little isolated and the walk to the village centre quite a lot further than implied.
Despite this a pint in the village pub was jut reward.

We first stayed here nearly a year ago now found it was a really lovely site and decided to stay as a seasonal.
We have just renewed for a 2nd year. The owner Mary is so nice and really helpful as are the wardens too, always making sure everything is OK.
We love the site for its location and its a really well kept site.
Although we use our own facilities in our caravan, the sites facilities have always been clean when we have needed to use them.
It's perfect for our family to enjoy some time away from the 4 walls and really enjoy coming!
