 Lovely clean site with friendly staff out and about ensuring cleanliness and tidiness. With social distancing restrictions on pitches being applied by the site the campsite felt open; if it was full with no restrictions it may have felt a bit cramped.
Review of shower and toilet facilities not possible as they were closed due COVID restrictions. The waste facilities were more than adequate and clean. No recycling bins were noted.
Tuxford centre is approx 2km away so walkable along the quiet road. A food shop is approx 1. 5km en route the centre. The office on site held only a few odds and ends but possibly not restocked post shutdown.
The attractions in the immediate vicinity had not re-opened.

A very friendly welcome from Christine and Wayne!
This was our first time using the camper and staying at a campsite, we couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. They helped set us and gave us lots of recommendations.
The site itself is very pretty, clean and tidy.

Arrived on site on the Friday teatime and we were greeted by the friendly staff and shown to our pitch.
The grounds were really well kept and the facilities were excellent. We were on the adults only part of the site, so relaxing and peaceful.
Nothing too much trouble for the staff.
Will definitely be going again.

Lovely site. We love popping here for weekends away, have been here many times. Pleasant walk into Tuxford for shops/pubs.
Our kids are 10 and 8, they love the play park, football area and best of all the wooded area beyond - great for playing out for hours like we used to as kids.
There are always other kids camping for them to play with, and the separate adults only area means the kids aren’t bothering anyone.
Friendly owner and the new wardens are great. Highly recommended

Long awaited return to one of my favourite sites following lockdown.
Lots of measures in place that made me feel safe due to the Covid 19 outbreak, there were restrictions regarding some facilities but these were for our own safety. The site is always clean but even more measures are currently in place.
I hope all sites are as stringent as this one and hopefully we can all return to some form of normal soon.

Fantastic location. Clean & Quiet yet site busy. Beautiful views.
We had a last minute get away. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Easy to find and access.
Nice walk to nearest shop (1mile). Would definitely recommend.

Excellent site, quiet and relaxing in lovely surroundings. Fab and friendly wardens who are happy to help at any time. Very well organised. Site is immaculate. Park for kids is great.
Had to use our own facilities due to COVID 19 restrictions but this really wasn’t an issue, shower and pot washing was available.
There is a pub about 10-15 minutes walk, but there is no footpath so have to walk on the road for about 3/4’s of the way. Tuxford village centre is maybe 15-20 minutes walk.
Will definitely be returning, absolute gem of a site.

Having had a seasonal pitch on this site for many years it was fantastic to get back following the sudden closure due to the pandemic.
It is great to see how hard the team have worked to make this site Covid Secure and safe for all ages without affecting the enjoyment of those visiting. The safety measures are visible from the moment you arrive.
Looking forward to many more weekends here knowing our safety and enjoyment is their top priority.
I cannot recommend a visit enough.

If you want to live life and have fun. Don't go. We were on adult over 18's and got told to turn music down even though all vans local to us were at ours

Always look forward to returning to this site, it is like meeting up with old friends seeing the wardens and some other regular visitors again.
Site is well maintained, quiet and very friendly.
The shower block is cleaned daily and the facilities are 10 out of 10.
Local amenities are within walking distance if you are able or a short car ride and you are at the the local village with various shops and a couple of pubs. Can't wait to return soon.
