Fantastic site. Arrived during thunderstorm but didn't spoil the weekend! Although had a lot of rain during the night the site never got too boggy or flooded. Toilet blocks were amazingly clean. You even had cloths and mop to clean up after yourself. The kids adventure playground was a big hit with my 3 girls. Hardly saw them all weekend with all the areas for dens etc. Lovely walk through the orchard as well.
The shop was very useful if small and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. You must visit the windmill in Tuxford. Amazing homemade scones and very friendly owners. Get them to show you round the windmill and also if possible see it working. Will definitely visit this site again!

Booked four pitches here for a two-night stay with my siblings and their families. We had a great family get-together. Lovely level site with great, clean facilities. Owners very accommodating, as we wanted to be - and were - pitched together. Do try the cafe (and meet the friendly owners) at the local, working windmill, especially the lemon cake - it's out of this world! We will be back soon.

A lovely campsite. Spacious unmarked pitches on level ground - if a little stoney in places. Very friendly owners. A great information and resource ' shed ' highlighting the local attractions. The children really enjoyed the play park set away from most of the other caravans and tents. Although only two showers per sex these were very clean and plenty of hot water. A great quiet site.

This is a friendly site with a separate camping field. There were several groups camping when we were there but most seemed inexperienced like ourselves. The village is a bit far to walk to so you are in the middle of nowhere which makes the site quiet. The owners are helpful and advised us pubs locally that would be good for children. Had a day out in Sherwood Forest and had we stayed longer would have liked to go to LIncoln. Worth a visit.

We spent a weekend here (2 Adults + 2 Children). The site is well set out with families near the play area and couple near the entrance. We found the site and toilet Block clean and well maintained. Our Children also loved the woodland walk, which is maze of paths fenced in so the could not get into the surrounding fields. There is a local shop which opens till 10.00pm and 24hr Tesco at New Ollerton. You can also book a long weekend here, arriving at 10.30am on a Friday and leave at 6.00pm on the Sunday, at no extra cost.

A real gem of a site, so quiet and relaxing; spotless toilet block, free HOT showers, beautiful trees, very welcoming owners. It's surrounded by a tall hedge so it's very sheltered, which was nice at the beginning of our stay when it was very windy. The pitches are well spaced and even though it was full you don't feel crowded.
The kids loved the adventure play area, and playing round the trees at the bottom end of the site, I loved the fact that the owners didn't mind us staying on till about 4.00pm with NO EXTRA CHARGE because we wanted to go to an event in the afternoon. That alone makes me look forward to staying there again.

We stayed here for a weekend at the end of feb as we were desperate to get out in the fc and it is close to home. The facilities at this site are excellent, there is a separate tent field, a fenced off dog walk and a small play ground (its more like a small assault course, great fun - I speak from experience lol)
The toilet block is warm, spotless with HOT showers and although its not everyone's cup of tea the local radio station plays throughout the night and day so you can catch the news and weather if you time your visit right.(we thought this was great)
We will definitely visit this site again!

I visited this site with my 2 yr old daughter en route fron dover. Was apprehensive as it was our first time without a man! The owners made us feel very safe and secure and were very very polite and welcoming. The shower blocks were the best I have seen yet a far cry from the usual. Very very clean and lovely site. Can't wait to visit again, very good price too.

Just returned from a fabulous weekend. Very nice site, clean and well maintained. Great play are for the children and we had a very spacious pitch. Toilets are spotless, however did notice that if you miss timed going for a shower you would have to wait, only 2 showers per block, we managed to time it right so no real problem for us. Watch out for falling apples! A very nice site and would recomend to all.

Second time we have stayed here. It's one of our favourite sites. Very well planned site with great pitches. The owners are very friendly. The toilet block is always clean. It's only downfall is there are only two showers in each of the Mens and Womans. But it's great for visting Clumber Park. New play area built at the back of the site. Would recommend this site to both couples and families alike. Excellent
