The park is well kept with adequate but dated toilet block for our visit but we think it would be inadequate when busy.
We had problems with the hook up and the staff didn't seem to care.
A nice park but let down by a few little points and bad customer service.

Just got back from this great site - our 3rd visit, although it's a long trip with a 3 year old and an autistic 5 year old we can't help returning! Will revisit later this year, or next year at the latest.
The owners and staff bend over backwards to help. As we arrived on the Saturday of the bank holiday there was no keys left for the family/disabled room at reception. On hearing we have a disabled child, the owner of the site personally issued us a key for this all important (for us) room.
The site is really well laid out, with tents separated from the caravans by a short distance (unless they need EHU) in the orchard and has some really nice secluded areas if you are in a smaller tent.
The play area is a nice facility for younger kids and due to the layout of the site can be seen from several of the tent and caravan pitches, so you can keep a subtle eye on your little ones whilst giving them a bit of freedom.
The site doesn't have things like a club house, which is another reason it appeals to us.
I could carry on.

Great site. Been coming for the last 12 years. Took our Grandchildren for the end of May Bank Holiday. They absolutely loved it.
Met people from Liverpool, Darlington and London. Great play area for the children.
The owners are so friendly, always walking around the site, talking to people and asking if everything is OK. The toilet and shower block are exceptionally clean.
Being in an apple orchard, hence the name Orchard Park, once the fruit is ready to pick, the fruit is available to everyone.
Situated only half a mile from Tuxford Town Centre, it is a nice walk to the Fountain Public House, which has an outside play area for children, for a meal and drink.
The day before we left, there were 4 Caravanners from the Netherlands arrived.

Fantastic site! Clean facilities and our 7 year old loved the football pitch and playing in the orchard with other children on the site.
Definitely returning!

We sited our tourer here in March, it's an immaculately clean and tidy site with good facilities. A warm and clean shower block, pot washing facilities and a launderette. There is a park for the kids and a grassed area next to the old orchard where they can play. We opted for the new adults only area which is nice and quite and you can really relax.
Mary (the owner) has been fantastic extremely helpful and very kind and welcoming I whole heartedly recommend this site to anyone looking for a nice weekend away or to site their van.
There is a lovely pub within walking distance too!

A friendly and well-organised site with plenty of facilities and good security.
I was able to use my entry key for late-night access which proved very useful as I was returning late each night

Lovely well maintained site, clean toilets.
Made to feel very welcome by Mary and offered advice.
Stayed on the adults only part on the first pitch which was huge.
Will return
