Really good location for a break as easy to get to from Sheffield / Nottingham etc. Bank holiday weekend so very busy but Mary and her team more than helpful helping everyone to get settled in, despite being full the site was not rowdy and the facilities were immaculate, lovely clean area in the old orchard for children to play so we will bring our granddaughter next time. Site well organised and very tidy, also very secure with a key entry barrier system ( £10 deposit ) Small shop on site for essentials but cost cutter just up the road 5 minutes away. Worth noting there are some seasonal pitches available, storage also available if you don't want to tow. We had a problem with our tow hitch on departure and Mary and the team assisted us, even letting us leave the caravan overnight for the dealer to attend - lovely people - hope to see you again soon.

A lovely site!
Orchard Park is a very quiet (although not secluded) site not far from the small town of Tuxford and easily reached from the A1.
Tuxford is a good 30 or 40 minutes walk and has a small supermarket and a couple of pubs. The food at 'The Fountain' is excellent but may be a little expensive for some.
The approach and access in general is excellent and the site is very well laid out. It is also flat.
There is a children's play area, excellent clean facilities - plenty of hot water - and a small shop. There is a small well stocked area with tourist information.
The orchard at the bottom of the site is peaceful and is excellent for children to explore and build dens.
The (relatively new) owners are very friendly and accommodating. They have/are making improvements.
We were not told of any rules or regulations and family visitors for the day were also welcomed.
Because the site was very quiet during our visit we were allowed to stay as long as we liked on the day we left.
Overall, an excellent site for a peaceful break. Highly recommended.

Stayed at this site on numerous occasions, tried to book for end of May bank holiday, two adults and our dog, only to face lots of questions about the dog, which in the end just put me of all together, so said to forget it, which is sad as the dog has been before, and the site is one of the better ones we have used in the past, shame we won't be using it again.

We have visited this site a couple of times before, but felt let down this time. As we were staying over the bank holiday, we arrived on the Thursday to extend our stay as much as possible. We were so glad we did!
There are now in some places 5 pitches where there used to be 3, and the caravans were really pitched close to one another. At least by arriving on the Thursday we were able to get a pitch in the central area near the toilets which seem to be their original size. Other campers seemed really crammed in.
There were also problems with the electricity over the weekend, when the electricity kept tripping on the whole site. We also had problems with our particular EHU point, which kept tripping out. We were told we were trying to run too much electrical equipment off it, in a very offhand manner, and with no further discussion. We don't even have an electric kettle! Because of the power cuts there was no hot water the next day in the shower blocks until lunchtime as the timer was out of sync.
The pluses of this site are still its location, the orchard and the shower block, but the smaller pitches and the electricity, would make us reconsider whether we visited again.
A real shame.

Very easy to get to from A1 this was our first time in our caravan so wanted site with easy access from motorway etc, couldn't have asked for easier. £10 deposit was required for the barrier key, we were advised of this at the time of booking. Booking process was very easy, dealt with Mary the owner who is a lovely friendly lady, and was very accommodating. We were asked to choose our own pitch, there were quite a few free so had a good choice, we pitched near the park but not on top of it. Some pitches were right across from park which would be great for people who have little children to keep an eye on. The park was great, my 3 children loved it (12, 9, 6)
The shower block was lovely and clean, 2 showers and 4 toilets. (ladies. ) There's also a very well equipped laundry room, including washing machine, tumble dryer, Iron and ironing board.
There's a small shop on site, which sold a few essentials.
We visited Lincoln and sherwood forest during our stay and had a great time.
We would go back again.

Sat here as we speak with the sun on my face, kids playing and throughly relaxed. Beautiful site, wonderful friendly owners and extremely clean site, showers and toilets. Fab play area for the kids and a beautiful Orchard to explore! Centrally located for Clumber, Sherwood Forest and Lincoln. What more could you ask for? 10 out of 10! We will be back soon!

Very friendly welcome, new owners currently developing and building on what seemed like a successful site already. We were shown round the site and had all the developments explained to us so we could share in the vision for the future. Shower blocks were being refurbished during our stay, the male toilets and showers were complete and are fantastic. The weather was cold during our stay but inside the showers were lovely and warm. New tiles all-round making it feel like home and very clean with blocks being cleaned every day at 1030.
Female block still being finished so had to use disabled toilet \shower. Unfortunately the disabled has yet to be started and was slightly colder but fully understood they are in development and if finished to the same high standard of the males they will be very good once finished.
We were given the choice of choosing a pitch we wanted as it was quiet. We choose the far end of the site opposite the park and on the entrance to the orchid. Plenty of space and could always see the children while they were out on the park.
Overall a great place to stay and we will be returning to see the finished site, oh and when we can pick the fruit from the trees !
Thanks for a great stay.

Just wanted to leave a review about the storage facility at this site, which we have used for 6+ years. We started out by living on site for a month whilst moving house, and although off season had no issues with the site. The owners looked after us very well, and were sympathetic to our needs. So when we moved into our home we kept our unit stored in their secure storage facility ever since, and must say what a good decision that has been.
The site is very secure, but despite that, the entering and leaving process is quite quick. We love the fact that the space is ours, and we can leave our car there when taking out the Motor home. The owners and staff are always very friendly and helpful. We inform the site by email in advance of when we arrive and our expected return, which ensures we have a quick turnaround, and if delayed a quick courtesy call ensures they are on hand.
On the odd occasion we have needed breakdown assistance or just to check over the vehicle, the staff have been very helpful and considerate. Cannot say anything has been negative during our time.

Our second trip out and a two night stay.
The owner was very pleasant on arrival and was very happy to recommend places to eat and drink in the local area.
We had to pay a £5 deposit for the barrier key but think this is fair.
We had a hard standing pitch in the middle of the site which was easy as you could drive on, drive off without having to reverse!
The toilets / showers were very clean, warm and the music a nice touch.
Overall a nice place to stay and the Pheasant Brewery only a couple of miles away which is worth a visit for their ale!
