We have kept our caravan in storage at Orchard Park for a number of years now. The storage security has been improved and is now very good. The storage is easy to get the caravan in and out and the staff are always happy to open up the storage for us, even though we're there most weekends!
All the site facilities are well maintained and the toilet and shower block is always kept very clean.

This site is a little gem, it is clean and tidy and well kept. All the staff are friendly and helpful, they all make time for a chat. The toilets and showers are always clean and well stocked I. E toilet rolls and soap. The grass is kept short and tidy. There's a lovely old orchard to wander around, look for the fairy house in the tree, and the bears hiding in the hedge bottom.
There is electric hookup all over the place so no need to have miles of cable, the water point, chemical waste point and grey water drain is near the toilet/ shower block which is central on the park so handy for everyone.
The shop in reception has the basics i. E. Bread, milk tent pegs and ice cream anoint other things.
If you looking for peace and quiet then this site is a must, it is lovely.

We spent the bank holiday weekend at Orchard Park, Tuxford. The owners were very helpful from my first enquiry, ensuring they could allocate 2 pitches next to each other for us (family of 4 and our friends, family of 5).
We received a very friendly welcome and were taken to our pitches which were lovely and spacious.
The toilets and showers were kept immaculately clean throughout our stay and the showers were lovely and hot, which was much appreciated.
There is a lovely play area for kids (although this is a short walk and not visible from the tent area). There is also a lovely nature area which the kids enjoyed playing in.
Nearby we visited Sherwood Pines which was great fun for our younger kids with a Gruffalo Hunt (free) and also Go Ape for the older kids which was fantastic. Make sure you have old style pound coins for the car park though as it doesn't accept the new ones. Parking was £2 per hour or £6 for the whole day.
Sundown Adventureland is also nearby and worth a visit with younger kids.
We had a fantastic time & will definitely be back soon!

We are a couple of golden oldies. This is our second year on a seasonal pitch. We love it here! The owners, Mary and her husband are really friendly. The staff, Tracey and Richard are always on hand if we need help. We bought a new awning this year and the park helper, Paul, was brilliant and helped us to get it put up. There's always a helping hand available! We feel as if they are our friends, other caravanners on seasonal pitches are also very friendly. The site is a kept lovely, including the toilets and wash room. All in all, great! We always look forward to coming. Hopefully for many more years to come. Thanks to all the team for all your hard work to make our time on park so lovely!

Came for a weekend away with my family and left with a season pitch for a year!
Love the site and love the people. My two children adore the play area and the orchard - nice to be able to allow children to play in a safe environment and play outside like I was able to to as a child.
Great clean facilities. The whole site is well maintained.
Looking forward to creating memories and spending lots of lovely peaceful family time in our new second home.

This is our 2nd year as seasonal campers on this site and we absolutely love it!
Shower blocks are immaculate, staff are great, really helpful, friendly and approachable. Fellow campers are so friendly its like a home from home for us. We take our dogs with us wherever its possible and this is a pet friendly site too so our dogs are as welcome here as we are.
I don't often do reviews on places I have stayed or on forums, but this is a must for me as I felt the need to share as its such a lovely place to visit.
Perfect 10/10

Lovely little gem of a site. All the team were friendly and helpful and the site was kept spotless. Facilities were clean and well maintained. My girls loved the woodland style play area. Very unique but fabulous.
There is a nice pub down the road, a little too far too walk for my little ones but I am sure others would manage.
A short drive away is Tuxford Mill which is well worth a visit. The owners were great and took us on a tour of the mill. We also visited Thaymar Ice Creams which is around 10 mins away in the car. This has a lovely tea rooms and ice creams for the kiddies. This is a little on the pricey side but lovely.
We stopped just for one night and there was an option to come earlier and stay later. I am guessing this was as the site was quiet when we went.
Will definitely return to this site as it was just so quaint, clean and everyone was so nice.

Had a fantastic easter weekend, our daughter absolutely loved the fairy house in the tree up in the orchard. Brilliant play area for her and even though it was a busy weekend the park/site was still peaceful. It's an old fashioned caravan park, that caters to those looking for an outdoorsy holiday where children can play in nature. Loved it! Very clean and tidy throughout. There's always plenty of hot water in the free showers. Friendly helpful staff, with a warm welcome. We were shown to our pitch which was a halfway between park area and shower block, which was ideal for us. Our daughter is a night owl but if your little ones are early to bed it's still quiet enough that they shouldn't be disturbed. We brought our daughters bike and she was able to ride it safely around the site as cars have to go really slow for safety. The only minor downside is if you have a dog that needs a lot of exercise, ours does. This wasn't a problem as we'd intended on visiting sherwood pines etc so she got plenty of exercise while we were out and about. There's loads to do nearby so we never struggled for exercising the dog, if anything she was shattered when we got back to the caravan. We'd definitely return, just hope we've a bit better weather next time!

We have just sited our touring caravan on a seasonal pitch at Orchard Park. Mary and her team are so helpful, there is always a nice greeting when we arrive and a cheery goodbye when we leave.
Everything on site is clean and tidy, the toilets and showers are always spotless, there is a shop selling essentials and there is a play area at the bottom of the park which our grand daughters love.
We stayed here years ago and it was nice but coming back we can see all the lovely changes that have been made.
It is a lovely site in an old orchard and we are so pleased to be back.
We love it and we are sure anyone visiting for the first time will definitely come back.

Wow. Just sited our tourer at Orchard Park on seasonal pitch. Spent the first of many weekends, and the place is great. Very tranquil. Good facilities, all spotlessly clean. Great location, just off the A1. Very friendly owner Mary, and manager Tracy and husband. Can't wait to get back. Dave and Michelle
