 Loved this park.

Friendly staff.

Was really good for the kids and the dog.

Was a nice place to get away for a few nights.

We are coming back at the end of the year

Small family run site, friendly and everything you need within a short distance.

Facilities on site are close to wherever you are located on the site. The site has a barrier and CCTV so very secure and safe.

I have now stayed here a couple of times and had a fantastic time both times. As a female travelling with her niece we feel safe and secure on this site.

The site also has a lovely children play area in the orchard which my niece loves.

Attractions close by include Sherwood Forrest, Clumber Park, Rufford Park and many more things to do.

I would highly recommend

Stayed over the May Bank Holiday weekend for the first time. We were a party of one caravan and three tents and Mary (the owner) was really helpful in putting us all together.

The site itself is in a quite(ish) location (a little train noise but no big deal) and walkable to the Fountain pub and Tuxford town.

The site has a clean but smallish toilet block (2 showers per gender) but was never an issue despite the site being busy. Water was hot and toilets always clean. It has a nice play area for the children and the grounds are well manicured.

The site is regularly patrolled and the staff always speak and enquire if everything is ok. It didn't feel intrusive though.

Thanks to both Mary and particularly Trevor for helping me with a minor issue with my caravan.

Had no issues whatsoever and would be happy to return at some point in the future.

Stayed here her a few times, with the young grandkids, fantastic kids play area and woodland play area.

Toilet block a little aged but very clean with piped radio music.

This last time, managed to get me in in the middle of the bank holiday for a 2 night stay, very relaxing, just what we needed.

Very friendly and helpful staff

We stayed Easter weekend with our Beagle, Rio.

The second time we’ve stayed at Orchard Park.

Greeted by Mary, who when walking round the site always had a friendly word.

Check in quick, smooth and efficient. Shown to our pitch. Barrier with fob for security.

Toilets and showers immaculate, cleaned and checked several times a day.

Short walk to the local pub, who serve excellent food and there is a local shop, lots to explore around the local area.

We liked it that much we’ve taken a seasonal Pitch on for the foreseeable future so we can enjoy the park most weekends throughout the year.

Lovely peaceful, rural, child-friendly site, surrounded by fields - you really feel like you're staying in the countryside.

Mary fitted us in over the busy Easter weekend which we really appreciated as we were meeting up with friends staying there too.

This site is really local for us but we've stayed a number of times, it's perfect for children to make friends and there's a safe playpark at the far end with an orchard and grassy football area. The quiet, smooth roads around the site are perfect for children on bikes and scooters and even the little ones are safe going round on their own. We even saw one of the owners sweeping gravel off the road to keep it smooth!

The facilities are fine - we use the toilets, showers and pot washing, they're not 5 star but that's half the fun!

Less than five minutes drive is Tuxford with a good Co-op, fish & chip shop and a lovely gift shop. A short drive away is Rufford, Clumber Park, Sherwood Forest, Sherwood Pines, Sundown Adventureland, White Post Farm and Wheelgate, all suitable for children.

Easter weekend with out whippet dog, Kas.

The second time we have stayed in this site.

Greeted by Mary, who when walking round the site always had a friendly word.

Check in quick, smooth and efficient. Shown to our pitch. Barrier with fob for security.

Toilets and showers immaculate, cleaned and checked several times a day.

Pot washing area the same.

Pitches well spaces with car parking.

Short walk to the local pub, who serve excellent food and local shop, a bit more in the village with a local chippy.

Nice walks, plenty of places close by to visit. A good base for the surrounding area.

We definitely go again.
