Site was amazing.
Quiet,
Great facilities,
Great location (close to Sutton Hoo).
Lovely to see all of the animals on site (the Alpacas were lovely and the pigs were hilarious).
Loved the environmental credentials of the site - solar power, collection of rainwater etc.
Great for dogs as close to some amazing dog walks. Just make sure your dog is tethered if they can’t resist the chase as the chickens love to see what you’re having for breakfast!

Our 4th visit here. Wonderful owners, very friendly and very helpful. Facilities 1st class, very clean
Amazing array of animals, the Blue Rabbit cafe offering meals, a lovely place to stay as a couple, freedom for children, chance to see animals in their environment.
Lots of walks nearby, Shingle Street, Aldeburgh and Bawdsey nearby.
We will be back.

Great site located in the tiny village of Shottisham, located closed to some great parts of the Suffolk Coast.
Nice clean facilities,
Very easy to access site and pitches

This was just the most wonderful weekend. Very well equipped campsite - didn't expect the fridge/freezer facility which was a bonus (especially in the hot weather).
Chickens wandering round the site added fun, and being able to eat the eggs from these 'very free range' animals was great.
It was lovely to be able to hire a firepit and buy firewood, too - and the cafe serving yummy coffee and cakes, and hiring out games was also a highlight.
It's located within walking distance of a few pubs (and the nearest shop is a couple of miles away, too).
Great to be able to park next to the pitch, and the pitches are well spread out too. And to top it all off, James and Claire are really welcoming and helpful.
Basically, it was a fab weekend, and I'll definitely be back. I'd say it was a bargain, and the perfect place to explore the Suffolk coast from.

I stayed with my two autistic children and the site was perfect. I have never seen such clean toilet facilities at a campsite!
The toilet /shower blocks were small enough to not get noisy/ busy and there is enough of them to go round. There is a disabled toilet. Some blocks are unisex. There are no hand dryers. Hooray!
The site is spacious and each pitch is a generous size.
The very friendly free range chickens are everywhere and are the main entertainment for the children on site. It can be tricky if preparing food on the ground but that’s quite fun.
There is a playground and big open space through a gate to the campsite and a pub ‘the sorrel horse’ also through a gate to the campsite.
Through other gates you will find woodlands and lovely walks. There are mature trees on site dividing the camping fields into small areas, even when staying on a full site it didn’t feel busy.
Lovely layout and relaxed site. We found a perfect spot next to our tent to put up our travel hammock.
There are fridges, freezers and power supplies for usb or plug sockets available outside toilet block.
A few minutes from Sutton Hoo. So many places to visit close by if you can bring yourself away from the relaxation of the campsite.
We didn’t use the on-site cafe this time but it looked good. We will definitely be staying again.

Lovely site very peaceful with beautiful walks.
However, the local pub was not open at all while we were there and the cafe is only open on the weekend.
So take all you need as unless you want to travel you will not be able to buy anything locally.

A really relaxed, clean and sustainable campsite.
The loo and shower block were immaculate,
The wood fired pizza was delicious and there are plenty of great walks to do from the site.
