A lovely site with friendly free roaming chickens.
Large pitches. Spotless facilities with plenty of hand sanitiser located at touch points.
Enjoyed a very good wood fired pizza from Petes Pizzas.
This is our second year visiting.

Fantastic atmosphere, quiet place, wasn't too busy at the time. Host very friendly and helpful. Few pubs around and beautiful surroundings.
Toilets and showers were absolutely spotless!
Thank you

A very nice site with lovely clean facilities and decent sized plots the mirrors in the shower blocks were cleaner than our own. A lovely breakfast using produce from the small holding on site.
The roaming chickens are a hit with the kids Who hug them to death ! There’s a nice wooded walk around the perimeter which passes a pub and is far enough for the kids.
Laid back, tidy and local, what’s not to like ! Jon and Cherie.

We really liked this campsite - it was relaxed, informal, quiet, and blessedly had minimal lighting after dark so we could see the stars! The facilities were really good - modern and clean and in relation to COVID precautions, very easy to find times when no-one else was around.
We loved the animals - chickens everywhere, including in the arms of the many children staying there, but also sheep, goats and alpacas, and the walks around.
But a bit of constructive feedback: We were attracted by the friendly and personal account on the website, so the only disappointment was that there was no staff member on site.
This should have been ok because there was a phone number to text or call with questions. But we tried to contact it in both those ways and got no response to the text or reply to the message we left. We finally did bump into someone who seemed to work for them, but it was just as we were about to leave - and even then we had to guess who he was because he didn’t have anything to identify him. Nice and informal, but a bit frustrating too.

Campsite was great! Plenty of space, clean loos and (free!) showers.
Kids very entertained by all the chickens wandering wandering around.
Had a nice, if brief, stay!

Top location with a proper pub next door, outdoor pizza and cafe/shop on site, brilliant walks direct from your tent, clean facilities, and lovely farm animals too.
The hosts are delightful, and the pitches are generous if a little open. Really good site for kids, and quiet after 10. 30 so we slept really well too. Thank you!

What a great site! We have been away camping for the last few years and this is the best site we have found to date and will be tough to beat.
Very clean, friendly and so relaxing with lots for the kids such as animals, play area and woodland.
Cannot recommend highly enough and look forward to coming back next year.

An excellent campsite! Appropriate amount of facilities that were regularly cleaned, generous pitch sizes and spacing and friendly, welcoming staff.
We enjoyed use of the stone baked pizza night and sharing camp with the chickens and alpacas.
We could see it would be a great campsite for children with a play area next to the campsite as well as the animals.
Great location for exploring parts of Suffolk and we'll definitely return here again. I don't think the website quite does it justice :)

Fabulous camp here (again). We don't go back to many places, but St Margarets is an exception.
Great walks from here. Peaceful. Lots for all ages to do (playpark with enough room for ball games).
Pub a stone's throw away (amazing food & a shop in the car park), another a bit of a walk away (great views, but food better locally). Cafe on site, pizza on certain days.
Smallholding with animals to see.
Shower blocks clean. Dogs welcome. Fire pits (yes!) and wood available. What's not to like?
It was too hot, but don't complain about that often when camping!
