This is a lovely campsite. Attractive, relaxed and friendly. There are the animals as part of the small holding, adding to the feel of being in the country side.
The cafe and pizza service were a lovely addition when camping. Facilities clean and modern.
Also only a few steps to a great country pub.
Would definitely go again.

Managed to get a single night, mostly full until Oct & I'm glad we did! Myself & 5 & 7 yr old were next to the peaceable goats, visited by roaming chickens (though 1 ate a bit of cake!).
Nice people on it, small, tidy & welcoming. Takeaway pizza was speedy, so fresh & delicious & lovely people.
Fire pit for marshmallows & mesmirising pj'd kids. & the showers were immaculate, perfect warmth with rainfall shower heads, & toilets with loo roll!
James was always easy to spot about, taking care of the animals & us. We'd love to go back for a longer stay. & do the walks. View from East Lane nearby was beautiful.
From Bawdsey easy to see to the Old Ferry, Felixstowe. Not sure if foot ferry across is going.

Great campsite with helpful and friendly owners. It was amusing to watch the children interacting with the many chickens wandering through the site and the resident goats and alpaca.
We found it very useful to have a fridge available for storing food and drinks and also the power supply with sockets and usb points for charging phones.
Toilets were very clean. Pitches were spacious and the cafe open over the weekend was super.
The lovely village pub was a very short walk with their garden backing onto the campsite land with gated access. There was no shop but there was one a short drive away.
A lovely camping experience for exploring the local Suffolk area, sea and countryside.

2nd time staying here & was as good as last time. The owners are extremely helpful.
Great place to go for walks and if you have young children they have the animals to look at.

Friendly well-appointed campsite, highly recommended. Will return with extended family soon.
We enjoyed the regular visits from the chickens. We could see goats and alpacas from our tent. Bliss.
Do try the rare-breed sausages.

We can’t speak highly enough of the campsite in Shottisham - it was wonderful! The site is located beautifully for the local attractions and is run brilliantly.
The couple who own the site are friendly and welcoming, inviting the children/families to be a part of their working farm elements of the site, giving children unique opportunities.
We loved the blue rabbit cafe on site and peaceful atmosphere if the site and the village. We will definitely visit again!

We love this place. We’ve been coming back time after time.
Friendly owners, smallholding animals to look at, a cafe and shop selling the produce, amazing wood fired pizza oven, woodland out the back, playground and pub within 5 minutes.
The site is quiet and friendly. We went as a large group with young children and stayed up chatting around the fire but the whole site was quiet by 10. 30 pm. Quiet enough to hear the owls and nightingales.
The perfect campsite.
