Fabulous working small holding with relaxed and spacious pitches. Very friendly with many return visitors (as we were).
We love the pizza on Friday night and if the cafe is open that’s really great too.
A pub just down the road but you can also get takeaway delivered.

A quiet site in a rural location. Pitches were ever-so-slightly too close together, which would make privacy a problem in high season. The unisex wash blocks had signs offering entry to ‘Whoever’.
They seemed quite new, were smart and clean and had plenty of toilets and spacious shower cubicles.
There are lots of animals in nearby enclosures, including sheep, goats, pigs and lamas (or were they alpacas?).
There’s a footpath to the beautiful village pub, which sadly wasn’t open on the days when we were there.
There’s no motorhome service point.

I made a booking enquiry at short notice and got a prompt reply. On arrival I had a good choice of pitches.
The site was very clean and peaceful, the showers and toilets are very modern and clean with a good pressure on the shower unlike some sites I have visited.
As I was in a tent with no cooking facilities the pub which is a very short walk away provided good food.
As I was travelling on a cycle this site is well located for access to Bawdsey ferry and Felixstowe ferry.
I would gladly use this site again.

This was a lovely site, we really enjoyed our 1 night stay. There were lots of friendly, inquisitive free range hens.
The shower block was immaculate and warm/hot water for washing up, showering. Fridge and freezer available for use.
Cold water stand tap near our pitch. Electric hookups were limited but as we only stayed a night, not too much of an issue.

A friendly and user friendly site, also dog friendly, so we had a great stay. Loved the chickens on the site! Quick, responsive pre-booking service, after which we could drive straight to our allocated place, that was ready for us.
A large site, but trees and bushes give the feeling of privacy and we had plenty of space. We didn't use the cafe but it was nice to have it. Changed our gas bottle which was very helpful.
It was good that the dogs were free but now our son is older, the added extra adult fee did make the overall price of our stay feel quite high as we are quite self contained and so don't make much use of the toilet block etc.
I would return to this site and happily recommend to any friends or family wishing to visit this beautiful part of Suffolk.
