Fabulous campsite with clean facilities. Excellent location. Straight through the gate for glorious walks, children’s playground and stunning scenery.
Short distance to Sutton Hoo and a selection of beaches. Beautiful Aldeburgh for fish and chips and ice cream. The pitches are spacious and not cramped at all.
A shame that the feeding of the animals, the blue rabbit cafe and Pete’s pizza were not available, these were all reasons for booking the site as we were a group travelling from all over the country; arriving at different times and had planned to order pizzas for dinner. We also had a young child that was excited to feed the animals.
Booking is required at the local pub or you won’t get fed there either. Lots of locals, not so hospitable for non regulars.

A really Wonderful campsite in brilliant surroundings - a great location for families.
The pub which is a very short walk (3-4 minutes) is really lovely and on site playground is perfect for young children.
The shower block was always very clean and available even on s busy BH weekend.
Would definitely visit again.

Had a three night midweek stay here. All very friendly and helpful. Nice site - pitched next to the chickens, who got in the van and tent when we weren't looking and would head over to us when there was any prospect of food! Loved em!
Well maintained site and facilities buildings were very nice and clean. The soils in that area are very sandy, so should drain freely, all very flat and well kept.
Would go there again. Nice lanes for cycling. Quite "get away from it all".

Large open grass pitch in a large field.
Toilet and shower facilities were modern and clean.
A quiet location with footpaths leading to country walks.
Booked online easily and received detailed information about the site via email.

Really pleasant site.
Lots of space and was really quiet and peaceful while we were there.
Toilets and showers were very clean and usable.
Even had some of the resident hens come and see us in the mornings.
Good value for money.

Always love this little campsite. It’s facilities are always immaculate. We love the proximity to the pub and the fabulous walks without having to get in the car!
Fire pits, logs, eggs, pizza nights, and weekend coffee and bacon rolls all available.
It’s on sandy soil so dry days are dusty and wet days are a bit grubby as the grass pitches are quite bare.
It’s very much family oriented with animals to help feed and chickens running free. SO if you don’t want the dulcet tones of those little voices. It’s not for you!
We love it and have stayed for weekends with friends and alone. We wil return.

This is just the kind of campsite we like. So many lovely walks directly from it. It was very quiet when we were there.
The facilities are very clean. We liked the environmental aspects, easy recycling and solar heated water plus low energy lights to show the way at night.
We liked watching the lamas, goats and pigs plus those naughty hens. Thank you for our stay James and Claire.
