Laid back, comfortable atmosphere. Easily found (with Sat Nav-of course). Evenings were chilled with a few using the fire pits available from site. Gave a wonderful relaxed feel.

With low level solar lighting when dark you could hear only the crackling of wood from the pits and it was so quiet before 10 pm.

The toilets were 10/10 and for the time we were on site always found them clean, soap dispensers filled and the obligatory sanitizer always available at the entrance.

James the owner was always busy around the site. Fridges and freezers for guest use.

There is a cafe on site for breakfast with produce sourced locally but we did not use this. Pizza available on Tuesday evenings.

Visited as a couple but a fantastic safe site for younger children. There are animals on the small holding and the chickens run freely (and also up into the camper) but will easily move out for a few well aimed crumbs onto the grass.

We arrived just as the school holidays were ending, but pitches were spacious and I imagine even when full, space was plentiful.

A pub, The Sorrel Horse was a 5 minute walk from the site entrance. Not quite our choice of menu (a little pretentious for us) but we gave it a shot all the same. Would enjoy a drink next time but not food.

It does receive great reviews so most probably us. Quite central for Woodbridge (we were pleased to see easy parking without height barriers at the station car park with reasonable rates). Southwold and Sutton Hoo just a short drive.

All in all great for a few days of peace and quiet. This is a site to keep in mind for a few days with the grandchildren.

Livestock smallholding location with chickens roaming freely around the site and short trail through sheep, pig and alpaca pens.

Large open playground and peaceful from early evening.

Excellent for families with young children.

Washing and toilet facilities clean and functional.

Stayed for one night whilst on a bike packing tour with a friend. On the busy/ noisy side but was prepared for it since it's marketed as a family site.

Nice, clean and hot showers. Convenient water points around the field.

Just a few mins away from a nice pub too.

States wifi but nobody to ask for the password.

I'd stay here again.

 Very comfortable and good stay.

All well organised and site well maintained and clean.

Prefer to do all our own cooking so did not use the cafe.

Would strongly recommend.

What a wonderful place to stay. Pretty fields to camp in, surrounded by woods, moorland and lovely dog walks and very well located.

Large plots, excellent toilet, shower and washing-up facilities.

Very helpful owners who went above and beyond for us. People go back year after year and the other guests were friendly without being intrusive and very quiet from about 11pm and through the night.

Lots of children roaming happily around and playing with the free-ranging chickens.

Dogs have to be on leads because of the chickens and other livestock but apart from that there seemed no need for rules or restrictions.

Knock-out campsite! Very friendly welcome - always room for a hiker or cyclist! A cafe on site. Pizza evenings sometimes.

A blissfully quiet area to locate yourself. Perfect for cycling those quiet country lanes. And don't miss sunsets down by the river at Ramsholt three miles away.

Fabulous campsite, so quiet with literally no road noise. 2 toilet and shower blocks, one newer than the other. Both always clean.

Big size pitches. Within 5 minute drive of a village shop, 20 minutes from a co-op and a few miles further for an Aldi and Tesco.

Village pub is just 2 minute walk away and very welcoming with good food. The shepherd and dog inn at hollesley does amazing food.

5 mile cycle from Shingle st beach. Town of Woodbridge is lovely.

Not a place to go if you don’t like chickens as they are very friendly! And you def need a table to out your food on / cook on as they are quick!

Cafe wasn’t open when we were there but pizza oven was fired up a couple of nights a week and Peres pizzas are lush

GREAT campsite. The site is clean and well run.

The toilet blocks are well kept and the site owners clearly care about the upkeep.

We had young children and they loved the animal feeding and location.

The other families were friendly and the children made some new friends.

Pizza restaurant worth a visit as well.

Recommended.
