Lovely site, we went during the week and stayed on the touring site so the ground was lovely and flat. Very quiet, toilets were clean and regularly inspected, hot water was readily available so you didn’t have to wait long. Morrison’s was really near to pick up a few bits for evening meals. Great views, have never felt anything so peaceful, considering this was my first trip I would definitely go again.

We stayed here for the weekend with friends, great site really friendly owners and very helpful. Toilets and showers are very clean and we never had to queue! Good playground for the kids which was very popular. Walked to Buxton wish we had more time there what a beautiful place, loads of history, loads of shops everything you need. Went to the local pub on Saturday night again friendly people, good beer and good laughs. Will definitely go back to this site, we all loved it !

Stayed for one night and many grandson loved it! He wants to go back for his summer holiday. Pleasant clean site, reasonably priced and enjoyed the break. We will return, its not too far from us and just far enough to 'get away' it all,
Morrison's is not too far and beautiful scenery and walks. Buxton is a lovely place to visit.
The only downside was the 10pm noise restriction, there was still some children playing after this time

Originally thought what a great site. You can walk into buxton in about 20 mins. Site is under a viaduct, terraced so not all level. Static vans on the lower level and tourers/motor homes on the next. Very popular site and we phoned ahead to book for the Thursday and Friday nights and were told we had the last hard standing pitch. Thursday was beautifully quiet, check in went smoothly and as this is the last leg of our one month uk trip was also able to catch up with laundry etc. Toilets and showers immaculate. Friday had the weekenders arriving and before long. It was like the M25! We own a French 'van so the door is on the opposite side. By Friday pm we were hemmed in on both sides by caravans with enormous awnings and the obligatory 4x4 so good job we don't take up much room, We had to move our tables and chairs to make room for the new arrivals on the other side. They were meeting up with friends and sat up until the wee small hours with music blasting until 11. 30pm. There are signs on site about noise after certain hours but that doesn't help when you are kept awake by noisy neighbours. We were charged £20 plus £3 per night for the dog! The most expensive we have paid for our pooch. So black marks against the site for the excessive charge for the dog and the lack of space allotted to us and general encroachment as the site got busier. I thought there was a general health and safety regs for distances between units on site for fire regulations but that did not apply to us. I don't normally complain about sites but noise levels after 11. 30pm don't go down well and finding your space availability shrinking purely due to new arrivals shouldn't happen so its thumbs down to this site unfortunately.

Lovely site! The Owners are friendly and very welcoming. The site is Clean and well maintained with good facilities. Showers are nice and hot but not very powerful. The Toilet blocks are nice and clean. The views from the electric hook up area are lovely. The pitches are nice and roomy so it doesn't feel cramped and feels private. Only 5 mins drive into Buxton and there is a Morrisons nearby. Loads to do in the local area. We will be returning and I would definitely recommend this site.

We received a very friendly greeting from the owners, the resident wardens; they couldn't have been more helpful. The pitches are roomy and feel very open but they not all flat which caused a bit a problem as even with a ramp five inches high the van was not level from side to side. The washrooms are adequate and clean never any queuing although the site was only a third full. May be a problem when fully pitched. The site was well groomed and in a good location and in a central for touring the peak district. It is a fifteen minute walk into Buxton of five minutes by car. Very tidy and well run site but a bit pricey.

Having booked a caravan elsewhere, we were horrified on arrival at the state of the caravan and its surroundings. We were not prepared to stay there so we left to find alternative accommodation. On driving through Buxton we happened upon the site at Lime tree Park and visited the reception hoping something was available.
We received a very friendly greeting from the owners, the resident wardens, they couldn't have been more helpful and they made available a modern clean comfortable van.
The site was immaculate and in a beautiful location and in a central position to facilitate our daily tours around the peak.
We enjoyed our stay so much we have booked again for next year.
We would like to thank the owners and all the camp staff for saving our holiday and making it so enjoyable.

Just back from 3 nights camping. We were on the EHU field with a spacious pitch and lovely views across the fields. We were greeted with big smiles all round and they couldn't do enough for you. We ordered a BBQ meat pack which was ready for us from our day trip to Abrahams Height.
There is a small games room with Pool table, TV etc. There is also a play area but my 12 year old didn't bother with it. You can also borrow DVDs from the shop.
This is a good site to use as a base for exploring Derbyshire. Bakewell approx 20 min drive. There is a Morrison's supermarket within a 5min walk from the site. We also parked at Morrison's and walked into town, saving on Pay and Display. The camp site also have a few discount tickets which we took advantage of.
All in all a good site and very quiet. The only negative I feel is the showers need desperately updating although very clean and I think they need to consider recycling facilities.

Stayed over the May Bank holiday weekend. This site has a great location with walks on the door step. It is a very clean & tidy site. Staff were often seen emptying the dustbins and litter picking. The facilities were impeccably clean but were challenged over this weekend. There is a shop on site and plenty of tourist info in reception. It's a family friendly site too with a play area. Buxton is within walking distance and a trip to Bakewell for a pudding is a must!

The toilet is clean there is a nice games room, plenty of information of the area, Buxton is only a short walk with plenty of shops and pubs / places to eat. We would recommend this site to anyone we will be back next time we will take are granddaughters. Well done to everyone there for a lovely time
