 This is a lovely site.

Clean shower block, nice staff.

We were pitched by the road which is very busy, but didn't bother us one bit.

Short walk into Buxton via the footpath, be careful crossing the road.

We will definitely return

2 adults and 2 dogs camping with electric hookup. Reported to reception on arrival and was then taken to our allocated pitch.

The pitch was more than adequate size for us and the dogs. Lots of room and not too close to neighbours.

View of the viaduct and sheep with their lambs. The pitch was perfect. The toilet blocks were exceptionally clean and the showers were powerful and with plenty of hot water.

Washing up facility also available, again with plenty of hot water.

20 minutes walk into the center of Buxton with lots of surrounding walks too.

Supermarket is also within walking distance. We parked up for the weekend and did not have to use it again until departure.

Wanted to stay longer, but work commitments wouldn't allow.

Highly recommend this site and would definitely go back.

This site is very well kept with garden areas, daffodils everywhere and the grass cut regularly during our stay. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Facilities are well kept and very clean. It's a ten-minute walk into Buxton centre, ten minutes to Morrisons, and takeaways and cafes and restaurants within Buxton are plentiful. On the doorstep, there are lots of beautiful walks and places to drive to for viewing, etc. ,

There is a farm shop on site that sells meat from its own herds and is exceptionally good.

The only downside I can register is the fact that the toilet paper was not replenished in three days in the gents, my wife had to pass some over from the Ladies. I am sure it was a genuine oversight.

We will be returning

Brilliant site, so clean and tidy, the toilet block was so clean and the warnest facilities we have ever been in, they were thoroughly cleaned and re-checked during the day.

The wardens and gardeners were really helpful and pleasant. We saw that the wardens did regular drive-rounds during the day and evenings, and on hand for help and advice for the local area.

Lovely views and hillside walks from the site, can walk to Buxton, Bakewell a short drive.

You can walk up the hill to the farm and farm shop on site, we were able to see the ewes who were lambing and and the little new-born lambs. There are bulls cows and a calf. Sheep and ponies also roam the fields.

Fab weekend.

 Lovely site

Not far to walk to Buxton which is a nice town

We stayed in the bottom field near the toilet block the block was very clean and had heating and music playing which is a nice touch

Staff were friendly

We didn't notice any traffic noise at night like other reviews have mentioned

Buxton brewery is not far from the site if you like real ales but unfortunately was shut due to staff shortage whilst we were here, but they do have a tap House in the town and can recommend their beers. there is plenty of real ale bar's in Buxton

We recommend this site and will return again later in the year

We didn't have any children with us and didn't take any notice of facilities for them so couldn't rate this section

Facilties a little outdated, but is a really clean and tidy site.

Easy walking distance to Morristons for motorhome owners and the town just a bit further away.

Didn't get to tour the local area, due the the media generated "fuel crisis", but planning to go back next year.

Well worth a look.

Fabulous stay from the offset! Friendly and informative welcome from Tina and other staff.

The site is very well kept, it’s clean and quiet, with lovely views.

The toilet and shower blocks were very clean and welcoming with music playing.

So close to so many things to do in Buxton and Morrison’s is only a short walk!

Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
