The site is well situated a 30-40 minute walk from buxton town centre. Site staff are friendly and helpful and the toilets and showers are spotlessly clean.
I found the level of the the hard standing pitches for touring were incredibly uneaven which caused a headache for me and also they are very close together.
There is WiFi but only around the reception area.

Liked, clean and tidy site, clean and hot showers, close to Buxton
Disliked, Dukes drive is a local rat run (short cut), speeding cars very busy and noisy. (not the sites fault)
If you are a light sleeper ask to go on the top field

Very well situated site for visiting the area. Very helpful staff, facilities very clean and the site pretty quiet.
A nice flat pitch but not very big.
Farm shop on site with reasonably priced meat, honey, cheese etc.
Very engaging staff there too.

Location good with a 15 min walk to Buxton. Lovely views and on the public footpath network. Local bus service about 10 min walk away.
Pitch was allocated. Would prefer to choose pitch. Pitches very tight with little space between units.
Shower block clean and more than adequate but shower heads probably need cleaning as water jets were erratic.
Would revisit site again.

There is nothing to dislike about this site. Beautifully kept with attention to detail.
Very clean showers and toilets, you're given a code on arrival to be able to use them.
A short walk into Buxton or Morrisons the other way. Very dog friendly and some good walks available.
The play areas for children looked very popular.
Probably the nicest staff I've come across, very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
I stayed here as I was meeting up with an old friend and won't hesitate to do so again.

Great site, really friendly and helpful staff. Great views. Great rural feeling location just outside Buxton.
Nice walk from the site to Buxton Brewery along the Farm Walk.
The only negative is that the camping field on a slope.

This is an excellent Camping and touring site within walking distance of Buxton town centre, and therefore the Peak District.
We camped in a tent so I cannot speak for those in tourers. The main tent field is large and spacious.
They limit the number of pitches due to the size of the shower / toilet facilities they have, although they plan a new shower and toilet block for the camping field and this may increase the capacity in the tent field.
The camping field is sloped, a gently gradient, none of it is level and this is probably the only downside in an otherwise excellent campsite, hence why only 7/10 for location.

Good welcome on arrival, clear concise communication on facilities, water, pitch and locality.
Pitch not biggest ever used looked a little cramped in our area of site, lucky that adjacent pitch not in use.
Super views across moors /viaduct.
Good location 20 minute to town centre.
