Went last week to Warren Farm with the wife, little man and the dog. 2 words 'loved it' the site was yes waterlogged in places and lot of the pitches (Field5) were closed but Tim the site warden had a look around the place first and suggested where would be best to pitch the tent. Facilities were spotless the field cleaner must work his socks off as from 6:30am till late he constantly cleaning! Showers are 50p for 8mins which was plenty and shed loads of hot water, some can be temperamental but reception gave me the 50p extra back. Site shop is well stocked and roughly £1. 00 more than supermarket prices which isn't bad. Never used the local pub (beachcomer) as we had the dog and our 3yr old. Lovely beach and funfair roughly 1. 5 mile walk which is pathed all the way.
Loved it so much we extended our stay and already booked for next year.

First trip to this site this year, but must be into the teens now for the number of visits over the last few years.
We love this place, and the kids enjoy the open areas and play parks.
The reception area looks like its having a massive makeover ready for next season and a lot of work is going on as you enter the site, but it looks really nice. Always a nice smile and welcome when you book in and you are free to choose your own pitch, which works well and the pitch sizes are ample.
The fields themselves are normally always clean and mown, and the toilet blocks are regularly cleaned and there's loads of hot water for showers @ 50p for approx 8 mins.
The pub is just off site at the front of the site, and has good entertainment for the kids and the food is good value and served quickly. The soft play area is free. The kids also enjoy the arcade area. All that's needed is a bag of 2p's and they are gone.
The beach is a short walk across the main road and up over the bank, or a short drive turning right out of the site.
We had a slightly wet time there and the fields are beginning to get waterlogged, which when talking to the wardens, has resulted in the site being shut for a few days, but with the amount of rain that has fell this summer is not surprising.
Our pitch showed signs of the flooding quite clearly when me left, but we had been offered to move pitches if we wanted too a few days earlier but were told that a lot of the pitches were in the same water logged state, but the wardens checked most mornings to make sure we were OK.
Will we go back??? Oh yes. Even this wet outing has not dampened our liking of this site and the staff.

We were asked to choose our own pitch on arrival which I found good as we could choose a corner pitch that had more privacy. The pitches were well kept and no litter around.
It was very busy but had enough room between each tent/van. We stayed in field 5 which allowed dogs I expected it to be loud with other dogs barking but in fact you never heard them,
The shower block was second to none. Always clean and had a attendant on hand who regularly kept it clean. Although it was busy never had to wait for showers I did find it a bit steep as they charged 50p for 8 mins of shower.
The playground on each field was well maintained and the kids had plenty to do, visiting the petting farm was a bonus which my daughter loved.
The clubhouse/pub was just on the entrance of the site (on main road) they had good entertainment for the children although catered more for younger ones as they played games such as pass the parcels and ball games, which my 11yr son didn't find very entertaining.
On Wednesday they had a market in the back field this is well worth a visit.
The park is a stone throw from the beach which was excellent. The arcade and soft play area was very enjoyable especially when the weather was bad.
The food in the cafe and fish shop was quite reasonable and we never had a bad meal. The ice cream parlour was again at the entrance of the site back on the main road. We did find this expensive as we ordered 4 ice creams that came to £8 but they were delicious.
The only one bad point I would make was the rubbish bins there weren't any except for the main bins that were at the back of the shower block.
Overall we really enjoyed this site and will be revisiting again.

We have just returned from our first visit to the Warren Farm Camping complex and I can safely say it will definitely be our last!
On arrival we turned up at the wrong entrance and the reception staff were dismissive and unhelpful. We eventually found the correct entrance and received a better reception. We were not shown the way to our pitch in field 11 but told to take our pick from very poor selection. When we asked about a motorhome service area to fill up the water, the member of staff had no idea what we were talking about.
The pitches were all flooded and most had no grass or had very yellow patches or were completely churned up from car tyres. We understand that the weather this season has been very wet but the drainage for the site is non existent and if you are going to this site in the next few weeks take your armbands and rubber ducks!
The toilet blocks were well resourced with lots of toilets, basins and a good amount of showers. The showers take 50p for 8 mins but that is plenty of time to wash your hair etc. As it was so wet around the site it was understandably difficult to keep the floor clean but there is no excuse for having faeces smeared around toilet seats and walls. The other thing we noticed was the amount of traffic around the sight as it seemed nobody thought it necessary to walk to the toilet block (although there is a speed limit it was not enforced).
There is a camp shop called 'Bunnies' it was reasonably well stocked and provided all the basics needs. They was also a camp cafe, which was cheap and cheerful. We had a nice meal at the Brean Inn but didn't venture to any other areas. It depends where on the site you are as to how close you to any of these areas but all are a little walk, as is the beach. Every area seems to have a play area that the children can use at any time and they seemed to from 6 in the morning till 10 at night. We weren't sure if one of the playground toys had a bell on it or if is was someone ringing the camp fire alarm bell but that was a regular sound heard and know one seemed to stop them.
The older campers we met around the campsite we all friendly and always gave a cheerful smile. Sadly these were in the minority and most of the people (and their children) were able to increase my knowledge of swear words to a whole new level and regularly used them to call the children back to their respective tents/caravans regardless of the time of day!
The beach is clean and sandy and was definitely the best thing about our trip. The dogs loved it and you can walk for miles although the cars sometimes drove very fast along it. The cafe under the cliffs was a very welcome sight when the rain poured down yet again!

Arrived early and was allowed to book in. Looking at other campers the site seems to allow units to book in from 8am.
The site is upgrading its reception and other building and the parking outside is very poor if you're the 4th in line and with this being a popular site you can soon hold traffic up on the main road.
One first looks the site was lovely but after just 2hrs of rain the ground could not hold the water and our awning flooded and our friends next pitch and had to bail out for over an hr, this was a site problem as we where not the only campers.
No help from wardens as they drove around looking at everybody suffering, even a 'i hope you are ok' or 'can we move you to another less water logged area' would have been nice but nothing. (i know you cant help the weather but can help the pitches) Drainage was poor in field 5 even though we were pitched near a brook not one drain I noticed and for a large site this needs to be addressed.
On a better note the mens shower blocks and toilets where spotless the women's on the other hand where appalling the wife said. The faster they cleaned it up the site had some nice 'ladies' that decided that toilet paper and toilet brushes should live wedge in the toilets these people should have been delt with accordingly.
50p for a shower says 8mins but you get 7mins of water and 1min of getting ready which is ample. Not all showers worked so be prepared for a walk to reception for your money back or take more 50p's, shower then get your money back.
Be prepared to dodge not just kids on bikes but also adults who feel the right as they are on site to walk down the wrong side of the road or directly in the middle and look all confused when you stop as you can get by. 10mph speed limit on site was ignored but drivers and wardens.
Beach is nice and are able to take cars on it for £3 a day and have a bbq. Dogs are also allowed if under control and pick up after them.
Sea was miles out so was unable to swim unless you fancied a midnight dip when the tide was in.
Shop, amusement and chippy on site all reasonably priced. Just outside the complex is an angling shop, general shop and the best ice cream parlouI' with 40+ flavours to choose from.
Also a bar and entertainment in the evening which seemed to start around 2130hrs after bingo.
Nice walks on the hill just 1. 5miles from the site with views of western-super-mud and Cardiff.
Went 'out door' laser questing near bridge-water £10 each for 2hrs and the best £10 ive ever spent and is a must.
All in all been there done that and the chance of going back would be low. If they spent money on a good drain system for the whole site then when it rained it would be great place to be.

Visited Warren Farm in July 2012 for 8 nights. Were very lucky as the weather was fabulous! What can I say what a fantastic park. Went with my husband and two children 7 and 11. Stayed on field 11 which was a short walk away from main entertainment area. Views were wonderful and you could even hear the sea at night. Toilet and shower block spotless clean and shower cubicles large. Washing up and launderette facilities also very clean. Couple that cleaned the facilities were constantly around and very friendly.
Several pubs and take away to choose from. Playgrounds, soft play area games room and small farm animals to pet for the kids as well as children entertainment in the main bar. Close to all the amenities of Brean. We all loved this site and cannot praise it enough. Will definitely return.

I really like this camp site. It is in a great location with the beach just across the road. The facilities (toilets / shower / laundry) look new and are well maintained. They are cleaned several times a day. You have to pay 50p for the shower but you get plenty of time. I managed to wash both me and my daughter with time to spare.
The Beachcomber does nice food at reasonable prices and has an outside area with a nice playground for the kids.
There is an indoor play area called The Barn which has a variety of games machines and a soft play area. It even has a 2-lane bowling alley. I'm not sure I like the idea of gambling machines being made available to kids though.
The on-site cafe served reasonably priced food and was always popular.
I found it surprising that everywhere we looked in the local area you have to pay to get your money out of an ATM. Usually £1. 75 or more. The shop at Warren Farm charges 40p for cash back.
As it was the summer holidays, there were some extra activities laid on in an adjoining field. Tuesdays and Thursdays, I think, were for Climbing and Archery.
There was a lot of rain when we were there and because the site is level, it got quite waterlogged. We were lucky not to have any puddles, but a neighbours tent was sitting in one towards the end of the week and my parents' motorhome sunk in the mud and had difficulties getting out.
The roads around the site are great for scooting and a lot of the children were doing this until well past dark and became quite noisy. They were scooting around the toilet block mostly, but one little girl was cycling inside the block as well.
Even though I normally prefer smaller sites, I thought this one was very good and will return should we get some better weather.

Lovely site. Toilet blocks were immaculate. Pitch was lovely and flat. Staff were lovely and very friendly. Although the weather was horrendous we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The grandchildren enjoyed the evening entertainment in the club house. The walk in to town is quite a long walk. It is also a little walk if you want to use the near by fun fair located near unity farm. We would definitely visit again. Take away was very good too. Site shop had everything we needed for our long weekend stop over

We have just come back from our second year visit to warren, just can not fault this site in anyway. Apart from campers dominating pitches. Not the sites fault. Large tents, plus large space wind breakers, then the other half of the family with their large tents and w/breakers taking 3 to 4 pitches between them. Not fair campers, come on, stick within your limits. We have a 29ft tag axle. Pitches accommodates easily. However, we had two other units with us, tent and caravan, we all managed to park together and within our pitch.
Plenty for all to do. Ages from, 3yrs to 72. Even our 15yr old loves this site. Lovely shop, showers and laundry. Main road tight if on bikes, we biked after 4pm as majority of units were parked or gone by then. Close to everything. Must see's are. Cheddar, minehead, w's'mare. Pier was full of arcades, disappointed with that, but hey, I've seen it. Lovely beach at Brean. A MUST SEE, is bike along the road to the end of brean sands, climb the hill, go over the brow of the hill and see the 19th century fort. It's well hidden but worth the hike up the steps.
We have been all over Britain and for the last two years travelled from Northumberland to brean, this site is just fab. See you next year warren. Well done you.

Superb site with great facilities. We have visited this site on several occasions and I can honestly say it is superb, very clean and tidy with quite new toilet blocks that are kept spotless. The evening entertainment in the on site club is great and quite varied to suit all tastes. The nightly charge is also reasonable when compared with other sites in the area and the site facilities. The site is quite close to the beach and there are some lovely farmland walks that can be taken with views as far as Weston. All in all a great site with plenty to do for all the family.
