We've just returned from 6 days at Warren Farm, and wow what a great place.
We went as 2 families, with 6 children aged between 3 and 12, and a grandparent ! and everyone enjoyed their stay.
For younger kids there was a play area just in front of our tent, soft play and small animals, and for the older ones there is an amusement area and footie pitch. The on site shop is very reasonably priced, as is the pub next door (food in there is great).
The pitches are very flat and although the site was busy, there is ample space between pitches.
The staff and wardens keep the whole site clean and tidy, and the toilet block is amazing. Definitely worth paying 50p for a hot shower !
This site is now firmly on the 'to return to' list, as there were so many things we didn't manage to do whilst we were there.

Stayed here Saturday to Monday for our first ever camping trip.
Site was busy but plenty of room to pitch our tent, play area next to our pitch so the two girls aged 3 and 6 could play while still being supervised.
Toilet and shower block very good and cleaned several times a day, only gripe was that you couldn't adjust the temperature on the shower and you couldn't turn it off when you had finished because you get 8 minutes which was more than enough, resulting in water being waisted.
Play barn was great for the kids as the play area was free and the ride machines and games where cheaper than sea front arcades.
I`d definitely recommend this site and will probably go again.

This site was absolutely Fab.
The pitches are large in size and flat. You are able to choose your own pitch which is also great.
There are lots of play areas for the kids including swings and boats and tractors to climb on. There are plenty of water sources dotted around so you will never have to walk far, no more than 30 yards.
The toilet block is second to none, I have been in decent hotels that weren't as good! Every time I went in, there was someone cleaning the floors or wiping the surfaces over. There are 9 showers all in their own cubicles with operate sinks and chairs. There is also a baby bath in both adult and female blocks which is on a surface a bit like a big sink.
The showers do cost 50p but it lasts 8 minutes which is much longer than I needed and was lovely and warm. I had no problems with the showers not working either so maybe that problem mentioned in earlier reviews has been sorted out.
The clubhouse was about a five minute walk from our tent which was in field 5. There was entertainment for the kiddies every night and a play zone with balls and slides as well. If you don't have kids, there is a separate club which does not allow under 12s in. This is where the advertised shows off the website are on every night so be warned, if you have little ones you wont be allowed in! There are door staff on all night as well which is re-assuring.
There is a fish and chip shop on site but in honesty it didn't look very appealing however, five minutes up the road is a Chinese takeaway and fish and chip shop which was really good and worth the walk.
There is a shop on site which sells everything as well.
The beach is over the road from the site, again a five minute walk.
This is a ten out of ten site and we will definitely return in the future.

Stayed here for a couple of days coming back from Cornwall very large site and a huge toilet block very clean lots hot water and plenty of loos basins and privacy cubicles which I love being a wrinkly good shop / supermarket on site that sold all you could want for a few days papers bread etc (the fish and chip shop and café were not open when we were there Monday and Tuesday) and The Beach Comber Club / Pub two secs from site OH loved this though was a bit disappointed with children in the concert room (I think he forgot when our offspring were little) food looked good in the Beachcomber all though we did not eat there it was well used for food. The beach was over the road and sand dunes
Looked good although it was wet when we were there I did walk a long way and called in the coffee shop on the way back next to the fishing tackle shop and gift shop, good. We caught the bus out side the site by the village hall to Weston Super Mare what a lovely place new pier was great, donkeys, horse drawn buggies and a big wheel (Weston Eye perhaps)

We used this site as a stopover on our way to a 2 week holiday in Devon. The site was large, clean & had the best toilet/shower/dishwash block I have ever used in over 30 years of camping & sailing into expensive marinas around Europe.
They were pristine clean with music, individual private wash sinks & facilities (large Belfast sink) to wash babies and although the showers were 50p for 8 minutes you will not mind paying for facilities to be like this.
There is a well stocked shop selling everything! an indoor softplay for kids, amusements & pool tables.
There is direct access to a large sandy beach opposite the main entrance & the pub/clubhouse adjacent to the site has been refurbished brilliantly with excellent food & the prices for homecooked food & drinks were actually cheaper than most normal pubs, the only downside was it opened at old fashioned pub times I.E. Lunch time - closed afternnon - reopen for the evening at 6pm
We had a choice of pitches in the field we had booked for & the entire site appeared to be well maintained & looked after.
All this for just £15. 00 per night is fantastic value & I look forward to using the site in the future for a main holiday!

Stayed for a weekend on field 11 grass was well kept. Site in general was very clean and tidy. Shower were clean and pot wash area was realy good.
This was our first visit to the site and we liked it we will definitely go again. We went into the beachcomber for a drink and food the food portions were big and reasonable value for money we enjoyed the drink as well about average price I think.
The entertainment was ok not our sort of thing but each to their own. Beach was only across the road and its big miles and miles long Local area is good went up to cheader and in to Burnham on sea which was nice.
Went to Weston super mare which has changed a lot and from what I can see mostly for the better

This is a very large site and it was packed when we went. Although we had pre-booked the field we would be on - Sunnyside - pitches are not pre-allocated so we just had to drive around and find a vacant one. There were only a handful of pitches left and they were pretty uneven.
The weather was awful most of the week. The site is very exposed and the winds are strong. We had read previous reviews which recommended using extra strong pegs. We were glad we heeded this advice. Our tent held out but a number of other campers had their tents destroyed because guy ropes gave way or poles broke. I think this was exceptional but go prepared!
Toilet blocks and facilities were okay. The shops are well stocked. There is an arcade and pool room but we weren't that keen on it because of some of the other people who used it. Just felt that for our 8 & 11 year olds it wasn't a nice place for them to be.
There was a large field for playing ball games but due to weather we couldn't make use of it.
Across the road from the entrance is an opening to the beach. On our last day the sun came out and we were able to get on the beach. It's expansive and sandy and the kids really enjoyed building sand castles. There are signs warning of quicksand if you walk out though.
If you drive to the headland nearby there is a lovely walk along it to the fort. The views are spectacular and the cafe at the base does nice ice creams/breakfasts.
At the entrance to the Sunnyside park is a pub. It was okay - food wasn't up to much though. We also tried the chinese which was actually pretty decent.
Whilst we were there we went to Cheddar Gorge - brilliant caves and lots of really nice places to eat. Went to Lyme Regis but wouldn't go back - beach was nice but very little else to do and we were stunned that we couldn't find anywhere decent to eat - most places were closed up at 6.00pm and we ended up in Burger King! Burnham on Sea was okay - found a lovely italian restaurant. Went to Bristol which was a great day out - plenty to see and do. We went on SS Great Britain - well worth a visit. We also went to Bath, which is a lovely city.
We wouldn't go back to site - it just wasn't right for us. The road from Brean was lined with caravan sites and arcades. We prefer somewhere a little less busy/commercial.

We stayed at Warren farm in our touring caravan on Monday 27th June.
There are different fields to suit everyone; we stayed on sunny side no dog’s field.
This field was well laid out, reasonably level; some pitches had some dips in.
The toilets and shower block were the nicest we have ever used
We used the club one night and the entertainment was very good, if it was peak time I don’t think every one would be able to use the club as the site is so large.
We paid £65 for 5 nights which we thought was good.
This site is in a good location to use as a base to travel around Somerset, we went to Cheddar gorge, Weston-super-mare, Longleat safari park, I wouldn’t drive around the monkey section of Longleat again, I thought my car would be safe, but the monkeys pulled off my rear screen washer, and took my rook rack covers
We would use this site again, but not in peak season.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Warren Farm in our folding camper. We pitched on field 6 with an electric hook up, close to the water and toilet/wash facilities, which were all very clean, you had to pay 50p for the showers, but we found this to be more than ample time and the temperature of the water did not fluctuate, even when others were in use.
More than enough showers and toilets to use, never had to wait once. The radio being played in the toilet/shower facilities was a nice touch.
A mile walk to the left takes you to Brean Leisure park, where they hold a regular market and have a great new swimming pool with lane swimming. Stop off at the ice cream van outside the Seagull pub, it is a must, you will not be disappointed. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, giving me advise on tourist attractions.
A mile and a half the other way along the beach takes you to Brean down, the walk to the end is worth it to see the old fort.
The Beachcomber is great for live nightly entertainment, although the pre live entertainment could be better advertised as it is non existent.
We used our free coffee voucher which was given to us on arrival in the Beachcomber on the day we packed up which was very nice. The Beachcomber is reasonably priced for drinks (£2. 90) for a pint of strongbow.
One tip on the way off the M5 is to follow the signs to Brean Leisure park and not the way the sat nav may take you as it takes you down a narrow windy road over a humped back bridge.
A very nice park to stay at with amenities close by, free entertainment, tourist attractions a short drive away.
We will definitely be returning again next year.

We have stayed at Warren Farm on several occasions. The site is always clean and well looked after. We always stay on field 3 as we have two dogs.
The toilet block is always clean and water is always hot. The playbarn is ideal for the children. The beach is just across the road. There is an area for walking the dogs.
The lake area is lovely to walk around and very relaxing. The shop on site has all essentials. There is a take away on site.
At the entrance is a pub that serves food and also has nightly entertainment. This is always busy.
Would certainly return and would recommend this site.
