This was our second visit to Warren Farm and this time opted to stay at Sunnyside (Field 11?) as it was reputedly quieter than the main site. The site does have good facilities and is very handy for the beach, however we are undecided as to if we will visit here again.

The problems we encountered were mainly caused by a minority of the other people staying on the site. There are a number of campers who do not exercise any form of parental control over their children.

We visited the play barn on numerous occasions and observed that there were hardly any parents in attendance to supervise their children. There was one child who was slightly older than nappy wearing age who had clearly messed their underwear but not a parent in sight to sort him out. We were appalled to see him wearing the exact same clothes the following day. The play barn in general stunk of unwashed dirty bodies and the older children were running riot in the young children's area with no sign of intervention from the staff.

At one point it was impossible to even enter the small children's play area as it was full of teenage girls busy playing with their phones. However an impromptu smoking area now exists out through one of the side doors so that the young teens can smoke without infringing the new smoking ban.

The fire safety equipment around the site needs severely updating. The hose reels are in place but the manual rotary fire alarm bells get abused and played with so much (around 2 am more than once!), that if a fire did occur, no one would take any notice of them! There are no foam, dry powder or CO2 extinguishers that would be more suitable for caravan or tent fires.

The Wifi Internet provided on the site was absolutely useless. It worked fine enough to allow you to sign up and purchase an access package (£20 for 7 days which is extortionate) but refused to work correctly after that. I am still awaiting a reply from the ISP Club Wifi.

Stayed here for 10 nights and found the site generally very pleasant.

The toilets were cleaned approx 3 times a day and were mostly spotless.
Nice hot showers be warned though, you have to choose your cubicle and then go to the slot machine at the end of the row of showers, pop your 50p in, you then have a minute to return to your shower before it starts and then 8 mins to complete. I found this plenty but dreaded the idea of running out half way through. Nice hot showers though. We had the pitch furthest from the block and it really was only a minute walk.

We stayed on field 6 so we were close to all we needed. There was a little playground in the middle of the field and the playbarn only a 5 minute walk away. My children loved this area. We had a meal in the cafe and it was very reasonably priced and good food too!

The Beachcomber Pirates cove does fill up quick after 7pm but the children enjoyed the disco and party games in there on a nightly basis.

The beach is over the coast road but be warned of the sand dunes, can be quite steep to walk over but a lovely beach once you are there.

Would recommend this site to anyone as it is clean, well maintained, busy but quiet, plenty for children to do, lots to do in the area, not a greedy site either - you can pitch a gazebo/pup tent at no extra charge. We will definitely return.

Just returned from Warren farm 14th August we had a brilliant time. We stayed for 10 nights on field 6 very flat pitches.  Well stocked shop, toilet block was spotless, very spacious in the shower cubical, 8 min hot shower for 50 pence. Playground in the center of field. Play barn for the kids with arcade games, ten pin bowling, tv room showing different films every 2 hours, bar to buy crisps, pop, etc. The cafe next door was very reasonably priced, meals were delicious and cafe was  spotless. Adjoining chippy equally priced and clean. The Beachcomber Inn was near reception, carvery every Wednesdays and Sundays great value for money. Nightly entertainment - Pirates cove kept the kids entertained all evening dancing and playing games.
Family bar was also very entertaining with vocalists and comedians kids over 13 at weekends.
All members of staff are very pleasant and friendly. Fun fair, water park 1.5 mile away loads of nik-nak shops on the way (if walking), very nice walk around Brean down mountain breath taking views. Over all we had an excellent holiday and will definitely go back

Just had a fabulous holiday on this site. The weather was brilliant. The campsite has excellent facilities. It's hard to get bored as there are activities for the kids like archery and climbing, great fun. There are two shops and the prices are good too. The beach is good although not swimmable. The Beachcomber Inn's entertainment is good but the food in the pub next to the fish and chip shop is better. So many facilities on site and it's so cheap the 50p showers do not hurt. The music in the toilets is nice. Would definitely go here again though I've read it doesn't stand up to the rain. We went to Cheddar and Longleat as they are not far away. A brilliant holiday and an excellent site.

Went to this campsite the week before the uk school hols - 2 adults 1 4yr old, and I must admit I loved it.
It has the best shower/toilet block there is - excellent facilities. Its a large site and we stayed on field 6 - no dogs, the warden was very friendly, my son put the pets to bed every night in the petting zoo.
There is a pub next door with big outdoor play area and mini disco /games for the kids. I had thought it would be a bit over the top and kiss me quickish for us but  you can take or leave what you are not into. The campsite was well laid out, plenty room to breathe, nothing in front but play area, only a playfield behind. Theres also a night warden who actually visits during the night - amazing. Think the other fields would be quieter and expect its very busy in high season, but where isn't. I would go back people were great. Shop was a mini Aladdins cave. Can't fault the place if you have kids, if not keep to the overflow field .

Stayed here for a week in July. The shower blocks are of excellent standard. The site is always kept nice and clean with the warden regularly patrolling. We stayed in field 6 and didn't have any trouble at all, even with heavy rain. The only thing we found that we were there before high season so the chip shop was hardly ever open.

The Beachcomber pub at the entrance of the site is very nice even if the drinks are a bit expensive. Try walking into Brean village and you will get more choice and value. The chinese takeaway at Sunnyside is very nice too.

We stayed here last year and because we thought it was a really good site we went back again for a week. The shower blocks were up to the same standard as last time, excellent and the site is always kept nice and clean, but the lovely flat pitches let it down big time! With all the rain the site looked like lake! One morning it rained so bad it flooded in our tent, it was like a river flowing, luckly it didn't come into our bedrooms, but it took over a day to dry up and it was up to our ankles in some places! Some other campers were the unluckly ones and got it much worse than us, they just gave up and went home! With all that rain the grass soon turned to mud, which after a few days started to smell so we decided to move our pitch to where we had seen it not flood! So glad we did as the next day it rained again. In the end we had had enough and we left a day early, to miss the next heavy rain fall!
Now I know we can't blame Warren Farm for the weather but was disappointed with the staff when our inlaws arrived a few days after us and after the floods and they were not warned about anything, and not told where to pitch.
We had to make the best of it but because of the risk of flooding again we won't go back to this site, which is a shame.
If you risk it and go this summer take your wellies!

Visited this site for a 4 night stop off on the way back from a long break in Newquay.  I will be honest the reason we chose it was the price.  The camping rates are very reasonable and there is no charge for dogs or gazebos etc. Which really annoys me elsewhere as my dogs don't use any camp facilities and I clean up religiously after them so £3 a night at some sites seems daylight robberyish.
Anyway Warren Farm is huge, we were on field 5 with electric hookup.
Positives are:
1. No numbered pitches, go where you like, love it, we went for a nice secluded corner with no-one around us and we had great views over the farm land behind.
2. Pitches are huge
3. Pub, takeaway, shop on site and kids play areas on each field - great facilities.
4. Clean, warm toilet/shower blocks.  Old fashioned but no problems with cleanliness.
Only one negative, paying 20p for a shower that wasn't long enough for me to even wash my body never mind my hair too, please just add 50p to the pitch rate per night and abolish the shower charging!

On arrival we we're advised on which field to camp in (field 6)as this was where most of the families were camping. The pitches are a very spacious 10m square approx plenty of room for our 6 man tent, wind break and our minibus next to each other.

We booked 2 nights but deceided to stay for 3 we liked it so much. The staff are friendly and helpful guiding us towards bbq bricks and places to visit whenever we asked.

The children loved putting all the gunieapigs to bed each night in the pets corner and used it as a place to meet the friends they had made.

The facilities on site are excellent. Very modern, absolutley spotless shower/toilet, laundery and dish washing blocks which have low music playing all day, which was lovely.

Loads of space for the kids to play and several small play areas within easy sight. We camped right in line with the park so we could keep an eye on the kids from the tent.

The local entertainment is situated in the beachcomber pub which is more or less on site we didn't visit it and so cannot coment but there was something on every night we were there.

The beach is a five minute walk over the sand dunes (which is short climb over the dune) on the other side the sand is soft and clean, but waters edge, when in, is not suitable for swimming in I would say, as it is from the severn estuary, but is ok for paddling. Stay away from the waters edge when it is out, it is miles away and very dangerous to get to with sinking sand areas. This is highlighted very clearly all along the beach.

Overall  I dont think we could have picked a better site and think we were slightly spolied as no other campsites seem to match up. Were going back in September for our sons birthday.

We have just had a great stay at Warren Farm, we stayed in field 5, for 4 nights  we had a disabled pitch which was right opposite the amenities block which was great for my hubby and son.
The pitches were great and it was fantastic that the play area was just at the back of our tent, so our son was able to go and play and we could keep a watchful eye on him from the tent.

The toilets and showers were always clean and were also very spacious, my only criticism would be that there were no individual washing cubicles.
We always found the dish-washing area very clean and tidy too.

The dog walking areas and expanse of farmland and fishing lakes were absolutely great for walking our Labrador around and it was also handy that the kids ball area was situated in a fenced in bit in the middle of the dog exercise field.

The play-barn was also another great facility with it's soft play areas, and  cheaper than average slot machines and snooker tables and also free DVDs for the kids to watch.
We had a lovely tractor ride which toured  all the farmland around the site.
The wardens in the individual camping fields were very friendly and always around if you needed any help.

We will definitely be visiting again as we thought for the bargain price charged for this site, the facilities on offer were absolutely great.
