Having never stayed on such a big site we were a little concerned about how loud it would be. I asked to be as far away from the pub as possible and we were on the sunnyside part of the site in the dog area as we have a border collie. I was very impressed with it and we sort of got in a corner and the site was very quite and did not seem that big.
The beach was just over the road so our dog was very impressed as he went for a run every day.
The shop was okay and the toilets were very clean but I did have to queue for the shower on the saturday when the site was fuller as 2 showers were not working for the whole ten days we were there. (Ladies)
We would certainly use this site again.

Fantastic site. 10/10 I will be coming back!
2 shops, indoor play area, fishing lake, petting farm which has a really cute donkey! Flat paths perfect for walking/ cycling
Running through the centre of the pitches is a play area for the kids. Has swings, slides, big wobbly boat and climbing frame.
Beachcomber food is fantastic & has good play area to.
It has an on site chippy, Chinese, pizza and kfc styled place. Only thing I would say is if you're going into the Brean Down Inn pub, don't eat there. The kids food tasted like it was all deep fried.
Shower is 50p a go but they stay on for ages! Brilliant for me because I had the baby with me to. You put the money in the wall and you have 2 minutes to get undressed before it comes on!
Music plays in there to!
Washing machines are 2 x £1.00 and the tumble dryers are 50p for 27 minutes ( I suggest using 2 50p's). Also there is a dish washing and hand clothes washing area. The reception always has loads of change if you need it.
I stayed on site 11 (Sunnyside), which is right behind the Brean down pub. It'll say on your booking form which site you're on. I think the one I was on was the 4th entrance.
There was a little theme park down the road too which was free to go into. But if I were you I'd drive down. There are hardly any pavements and with kids its a bit scary because the roads are narrow.
When you pull out of the site turn left and keep going down, there is a petrol station and then further down is the theme park. They also have car boots on there.
Turn right out of the site and go to the bottom of the road you'll see the entrance to park on the beach which was £2.50 for the day. Plenty of bins on the beach so you can have bbq's.
There's the warden there to.
Each pitch is marked out wit the white markers
It was lovely and quiet, no noise/ stress. But I did go just before the school holidays!

What a fantastic site! We were situated in field 5. We pitched our tent and right in front of us was a play area for our 7, 5 and 2 year old to use and a 30 second walk away was the shower and toilet block which was cleaned 2-3 times per day.
The toilet block was very clean and always well stocked, showers clean and there is a baby 'sink' to bath babies and toddlers which was a blessing for my almost three year old who hates showers!
Brean Down Inn excellent for food and entertainment, my 7 year old loved the free bingo. Beach well worth the steep climb which is just across the road from camp site. On site you can hire freezer blocks at 20p each.
Well stocked shop with on site cafe and indoor play barn for when it's raining. Kids loved the little petting zoo area with donkey, goats and guinea pigs. Every day we saw wardens patrolling and picking up any stray litter.
Plenty to do and see and will be returning in August for three nights. Highly recommended. My only criticism was the noise level quite late into the night but it definitely didn't put a dampener on our holiday.

We own a VW campervan and go to the VW shows whenever we can. Our first visit to Brean was in 2009 and we loved the area so much we couldn't wait to get back this year.
The site of the show had changed this year to Warren Farm and we felt this was a great choice. A stones throw from the beautiful Brean Downs beach, a lovely pub serving delicious food that is good value for money and also small but adequately stocked shop.
The one thing that stands out for me is the spotless toilet and shower blocks. One of the only campsites we've been to, to have full length mirror and hairdryers with stools to use in front of vanity mirrors. Roomy showers that you pay 50p for 8 minutes. I didn't mind paying a bit, as I could see what the money is being spent on!
Nice, spacious and flat pitches, we had electric hook up. Very friendly and helpful staff who couldn't do enough for us. We intended to stay for 3 nights and ended up staying for 5. And we can't wait to go back.

First ever family camping trip, 2 adults, 2 children (6 & 7) and an infant 20 months. Needless to say we were a bit nervous.
Finding the right site with the right facilities had to be spot on.
Welcome at Reception. Excellent (very helpful and friendly staff, willing to go the extra mile)
Pitch. Very Good. Had a choice of pitches as we got there early because we didn't know how long it would take to set-up tent. We chose field 11, with no pets.
Play area running through pitches and fresh water taps everywhere.
Shower Block / Toilets / Washing Area. Excellent. Music playing in shower block, 50p for 10 mins, cleaned regularly.
Facilities. Very Good. On site shop was good as an emergency top up, would prefer to shop at supermarket before arriving.
Two pubs on site, the main one called 'Beachcomber', excellent food, great entertainment for kids and there was another bar for adults cabaret. The pub also had an enclosed beer garden with fantastic play area and bouncy castle (both free).
Chip shop / Chinese / Cafe / Amusements & Soft Play.
Extras.Very Good. 25 minute Tractor trailer ride which kids loved
Hiring of hook-ups, fridge, ice packs so cheap!
Horses and few farm animals on site to get up close and personal. Sports area very good, enclosed so no pets can get in.Pushchairs too!
Downsides. There are areas that pets can run around, one of which surrounds the sports area. I am fine with animals running free to get exercise, but when bins are supplied to put doogy doos in, why do some owners still refuse to pick it up.
Outside campsite.Excellent Beach a stones throw away, superb when tide is up at sunset. Ranger said the walk along the top of peninsula was fantastic, sadly run out of time. Fairground just 10 minutes away.
Overall for a virgin camper. Awesome, site very clean, inside and outside, cheap for 2 nights with power (£33) and was told to turn up when I wanted on the Friday and leave whenever on the Sunday.

Warren farm is a lovely site. It can be a bit breezy but as it was extremely hot that was very welcome. Toilet blocks are very good my only gripe is the 50p charge for 8 minutes and the fact that where you put the coins in to operate the shower could be quite some distance from the shower you were in. No opportunity to 'top up' the money to get a longer shower.
Entertainment was good although visibility was limited.
This is a lovely site, loads for the kids to do, park is well maintained. I would advise adding the cost of the showers into your overall price if going as a family for a week or two.

This site easy to find and about 20 minutes from the M5 junc 22.
We had a spacious pitch for our Hartford XL and the Toilets were immaculate and recently improved.
On site shop, Chippy, indoor play/games room and animal petting area all very good.
The beach is just a stroll across the road and you can take the car on the beach further up the road if you want to. (Handy on packing up day if the weather is nice).
Dogs are also welcome and allocated to certain fields. There is also a large sports / exercise field and fishing pools.
Did not use the Beachcomber pub next door but looks as though it caters for every angle especially the those with kids.
In summary, we will go back without question and if I could ask for anything else it would be a swimming pool because the sea goes so far out there you struggle to reach it safely.

Excellent campsite. Facilities were very good. First Class toilet and shower blocks. Pitch size is very good which is handy when you have a large tent. Tariff was very reasonable for this time of year.
The only grumble I have is the fact that some people don't care about noise levels after 10.30pm though I would imagine during school weeks it is quite near perfect. Beware of hungry seagulls as they don't mind pinching off a hot BBQ!

Warren Farm is a great family site, split into various sections so caters for everybodies type of Holiday. We camped as a group of twelve, with one trailer tent and two tents. Five adults and seven kids ranging from 10 to 16 and not one of them said the dreaded I'm bored.
We stayed on sunnyside which had lovely flat well drained pitches. Toilet block very close and kept very clean even though it was busy as half term week. Very friendly welcome, you find your own pitch which is great if camping as a group.
The site shop is well stocked with all the essentials, bread milk and a good range of chilled and frozen food, as well as gifts and toys. Good choice of take aways and pubs on outskirts of site, very reasonably priced and good opening times.
Lots of open spaces and park areas for the kids to play. Very safe site, regularly patrolled by wardens and barriers between fields so no cars racing around. Each section has its own resident wardens so always someone on hand to help and advise.
Wash up area large and good supply of hot water and plenty of sinks. Showers were 50p for 10mins, but kept very clean, large with separate dressing area in cubicle and lovely and powerful at a good temperature (this is set and cant be adjusted). All in all I would highly recommend this site and will return in the future.

4 night stay over spring bank holiday. Site was full as expected but still managed to get three pitches together despite arriving late because of M5 traffic.
Spacious pitches, level and well drained, very windy on couple of days, make sure you are well pegged down! Staff helpful and friendly, well stocked shop is not too expensive and two on site pubs fairly good value too, although if you want a seat in the Beachcomber you will have to be very early when the site is busy.
Shower and toilet facilities excellent and kept very clean with large shower cubicles easily taking adult and two little-uns for 50p/10 mins, pot-wash was superb as well. This is a very large site and if you are on Sunnyside it is a 10 min walk across the dog walk field to get to clubhouse and playbarn.
The kids playbarn is really good with most of the entertainment machines reasonably priced and little kids rides are just 10p, which is a welcome change as these are usually 50p or even a pound. I thought Brean Leisure park down the road was not really good value as it is really just a permanent fair and you wouldn't pay £19 each for that normally. Overall a nice site that I would recommend for families.
