We had previously stayed on this site in a tent before we had our son, it poured with rain the whole time and we left a day early, we stayed on field 5 as we had friends with a dog.

We returned a year later with a caravan and small baby as we really like the site but had been restricted due to weather. It is really easy to find with large entrance.

We arrived early and stayed in field 6 this time as we had no pets. Although the facilities on field 5 were fine, these were much nicer, with numerous showers, toilets, washing cubicles, plug sockets for straighteners etc (had hair dryers but took ages so advise take your own if possible).

There was a large butler sink for bathing babies which was ideal this was in both ladies and gents. They were spotless, on site caretaker made sure of that.

The pitch we could choose ourselves and spacious grassy fields with roads around.

There is no entertainment on site but s short walk away is Brean Leisure Park – not really aimed at toddlers but would be OK for older children, there was small swimming pool which was lovely and warm.

2 pubs were on site but didn’t eat at those so can’t comment. We did go to the Chinese takeaway on both visits and was nice food. Across the road is the beach which was lovely but windy – we did go in September, I imagine it’s really nice earlier in the year, although it is a steep climb to get to it which was difficult with the pram.

We stayed off peak and was only about 9.50 per night which for the level of the park was brilliant. Would go back again without a doubt.

There is also 2 little shops selling the basics and some camping equipment.

I liked this campsite, I stayed on Sunnyside. The toilet facilities were nice. I did notice a few toilets were being left unflushed but I think this was by children having trouble pushing the buttons in as they can be quite stiff.

I liked the fact they had dressing tables with hairdryers and sockets. The hairdryers weren't up to much though so if you have long or thick hair you may find yourself in there quite a while, best to bring your own!

My children loved the playbarn, it has a soft play area and numerous arcade games, bowling alley and pool tables, also a lovely pond in the centre.

There are a few well stocked shops, we used 'Bunnies' mostly as that was situated closer to our pitch. The chinese was ok, a bit pricey but then it's on your door step!

I didn't go the pubs or clubhouse. Not my scene!

The beach is only a 5 minute walk just outside the entrance and across a road. We didn't have too much trouble with the buggy unlike others. My hubby just dragged it up the sandy lane backwards.

All in all we had a good time and think it was great value for the money, I liked the fact we could stay all day sunday at no extra cost. You have to be off your pitch by 11am though during high season.

I am going back next weekend but am booked into field 6, I will change this to Sunnyside if I can as it seems quieter.

We stay at warren farm a few times every year, the facilities are always clean, fresh and spotless. Staff are very friendly, helpful and make you feel very welcome. We are a family of 7, 4 adults and 3 teenagers. As the site is so big with lots to do its hard to get bored and with local shops, beach, pubs, takeaways and amusements only a few mins away its a brilliantly located site. The pitches are flat and grass well maintained. I would and have recommended warren farm to family and friends and always look forward to going.

Showers at this site are charged at 50p for 9 mins but are well worth it! one thing I will add is if you are looking for quieter experience make your booking in the sunnyside fields. They are further away from the main part of warren farm and very quiet.

Very nice and large site with good facilities, shower and toilet blocks were keep clean and all other areas well maintained. Pitches were uneven in places but we managed to get a pretty flat spot. Great area for families, walkers and people with dogs, not far from the beach and walking distance to local pubs and restaurants. We ate quite a few times in the Brean Down Inn and all the food was fantastic around £40 for 2adults/3kids with a round of drinks. The wind was a problem on occasions but they cant control that for you now can they.

The only letdown was there was nowhere to freeze our cold packs, you can hire them but we felt that was taking the mick a little.

Firstly, if you're not into sharing a site with literally thousands of people in the Summer, this site is NOT for you. However, if you have kids, want lots of fun, make barbeques on the beach and fly kites then this is your sort of thing.

We can be often classed in one of the above: I have my kids every other weekend and we often go to rallies and meets with other people. Other times, we go with a few friends and have a nice quiet time.

This campsite is in the former category.

Warren Farm, as mentioned above, is huge. They have every inconceivable facility and are ultra-efficient. We turned up on a Friday evening (normally a nightmare at larger sites) and were quickly processed and given directions to our pitch. If you wish to have a meet here, I would recommend booking it all EARLY in ONE BIG HIT. The reason being is that we were all advised to book separately, but being such a huge site, some of our friends were over half a mile away (it could have been worse - I reckon this site is at least a mile long). We were all in different fields and it was a pain.

Toilet facilities are excellent although I was a bit miffed that we had to pay 50p for a 9 minute shower, however, they are probably the cleanest showers I've seen and very powerful.

I'm not going to list the other facilities because short of staying on a Haven or British Holidays park, I don't think I could list a facility that wasn't there - multiple bars, a chinese takeaway, fish and chips, a cafe and so on.

All in all, if you're thinking of booking your Family Summer Holiday here, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

One of the best moments I've ever had camping was driving the camper onto the beach at around 6pm and making a curry whilst watching the sea come in.

Absolutely FANTASTIC site, close to the beach, great value, decent pitches, designated pet-friendly field & HUGE walking area and the best shower facilities we've seen in a long time. The one and only downside? TAKE DELTA PEGS AND GOOD QUALITY WINDBREAKS - you'll need them.,We and MANY others, lost our tents to the wind and had to sleep in the car :-(

Loved this site, stayed on the other side of warren farm (sunnyside). Bit open to the elements but the tent was sturdy enough. The shower block was clean and had all you needed, plenty of plugs for hair dryers etc.

Only downfall was that we were on field 10 and it was a bit of a trek to the shower block, not nice in bad weather. Lots for the children to do. Would definitely go back to this site as staff friendly and helpful.

We went to Warren Farm on the strength of the reviews on UkCampsite, and as I have only been to Ashurst camping I can only compare this site to that one! So here goes.

The campsite is situated a short drive(but long walk) from Brean leisure park,it is also a very short walk from the beach. We stayed at Sunnyside field 11 ,which is a fair walk from the main center although you do have Bunnies shop nearby, being the school holidays the place was absolutely rammed full, which may explain the problems we had. The toilet blocks generally stank each morning and suffered at the hands of tearaway kids in the evenings- there was a broken beer bottle in there at about 11pm one evening with kids running riot. People seemed to ignore the 10pm settling down time and shouting and screaming went on til well past 11- which was a pain as we wanted an early get away the following morning. It was also very windy across the field which made pulling the tent down a nightmare (you can only blame mother nature for that one though).

There are also pubs nearby but as we were there to just chill we didn`t use them. The showers are 50p for 10 mins which is a bit cheeky (adds £2 a day for a family of 4) but the hairdryers are free(not that I need a hairdyer!) Another thing that could be seen as a minus point are the fire bells that are on the water bays. These were regularly played with by unwatched young kids and became a nuisance during the day.

On the positive side the pitches are flat, all seem to have hookups, well laid out and big,the staff are friendly and the site is generally tidy, although you have to keep a look out for dogs muck. Especially on the recreation area.

Just got back from a wonderful 4 nights, 5 days at Warren Farm. Site is absolutely huge with several different entrances, we stayed on Field 11 which is the furthest away from everything. Nice & quiet but too far to walk to the on site club, the Beachcomber, so would definitely try to get in Field 5 or 6 next time.

Evening entertainment at the Beachcomber was ok, there's a family room where they run games & competitions & a cabaret room with live singers & acts etc.

Cannot complain about any of the on site amenities, showers & toilets fantastic, always clean & no queues to speak of, even though it was very busy. Lots of little play areas dotted about which the kids loved, on site supermarket as well as 2 other shops; you could turn up without any camping gear & buy absolutely everything you would need on site!

Beach runs parallel to site behind some houses on the dunes, there are public pathways between the houses over the dunes, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with a pushchair or elderly person in tow, it's fine on the way down but really hard work climbing back up the dunes! There is a car park right by the beach which costs £4 to park.

Brean Leisure Park is great for the kids but with the site as lovely as it is save your money & let the kids enjoy the great outdoors!

There's a market in one of the fields on the campsite every Wednesday which was fantastic, very good bargains to be had!

All in all a wonderful experience & we shall be going back to Warren Farm next year!

To be fair, this is a very well laid out campsite.

The pitches are level and a good size.

The shop is very well stocked with most things you could need.

The Beachcomber pub is close and well run with an excellent selection of dishes.

The toilets modern and very clean, showers hot and powerful.

The dishwashing area is adequate but could do with more washing machines and tumble dryers in the launderette.

Just a few niggles,

The waste water disposal points are raised off the ground about 18 inches, which is fine if you are able. I saw a few less able people struggle to lift their containers.

Dogs are supposed to be kept on lead at all times but not all owners abide by this.

Drainage. They say this site has drainage yet in the weeks I stayed there we heard conflicting stories why the site was flooded.

The drainage pump is not connected.

All things considered I would go back there as it is a very nice site with good amenities but, only when the drainage is sorted out and fully functioning.
