Arrived to a friendly welcome and told to pitch anywhere in Field 5 as we had 2 dogs. Booked this break as it was good value. Pitches were good. Level and grassy. Toilets and showers were excellent. Clean and bright. The hand dryers are not brilliant though. Could really do with more powerful ones. Facilities around the park are good. The cafe wasn't open as it was too early in the season. We have eaten there before though and the quality of food and the price was okay. The shop was not overpriced like many. The chinese / chippie had huge portions. And the food was good. The Beachcomber drinks were well priced. But we didn't eat here, because we weren't allowed to. There is no inside / sheltered place to eat if you have dogs. It really annoys us that dog friendly sites are not 'that' dog friendly. A lot of pubs and campsite clubs allow dogs in while you use their facilities. Companies are losing revenue due to circumstances like this. Would I come again? Yes for short breaks, but not for main holidays as my dogs are part of the family and they deserve what I get. All in all, a very good campsite, but lose points due to the dog penalties.

This site has everything you can get. A very good dog walk. Pitches that are very good condition. Very near to the beach. Food outlet cafes and restaurants. On site entertainment if you want it. All that you can get for a great time for all.

Lovely Site, Lovely Location, Nice pitches with adequate room. The facilities were very good, plenty of toilets and showers, cleaned regularly, although I did get a bit of a scare early one morning when I was greeted by a dozing seagull under the sink area lol. The showers need a 50p for hot water but you get 8-minutes of hot water which is plenty. Can be a little too hot for kiddies though.
The shop stocks a good variety, and at a reasonable price too. We needed to buy a new air bed when we were there, and it was no more expensive than we would have paid at home, usually sites like this make a fortune as they have a captive audience, but not this one.
Food from the take away was fair / good, and the food in the beachcomber next door was very nice although it does get extremely busy and you do have to be prepared to wait for a table.
There is plenty to do off site, and on site and I would recommend this site to all sorts.

I've travelled & camped in a lot of places all over Australia, Spain, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg & Germany and of course the U. K. The toilet blocks are amoungst the best of any of them, the only thing that lets them down is that there aren't enough hooks. The site is spot on for cleanliness & safety. The staff are always on hand and happy to help you no matter what the problem is. There are some great facilities for the kids, a park, indoor play room with free ball pool / multi adventure area, my 5 year old grandaughter didn't want to leave and it wasn't raining. Their admin is accurate, . There is a great pub / restaurant next door which is reasonably priced. The beach is only a hundred feet or so away and is clean although a long way out when the tide is out. Overall we thought the campsite was one of the best we have ever been at. The only draw back was that it was fairly isolated as it was at the end of a peninsular but it didn't stop us from having a great time.

This was our third trip to Warren Farm having stayed last year for the tail end of hurricane Bertha and over ten years ago previously. This time we had a caravan! the tent having been repaired and sold. Tried field 5 this time. The camp has several fields to chose from depending on whether you want peace and quiet, or need close dog exercise areas, or have young children who would appreciate the play areas. Arrived well before the check in time but reception staff were very accommodating allowing access to find a space. We sited fairly close to the dog exercise field. As usual the toilets and showers were constantly checked, and cleaned when necessary. Showers cost 50p but are lovely and hot and last plenty long enough, also cubicles have a stool, two hooks and a shelf for you clothes and bits, much better than some other sites.
The Beachcomber is always busy and ideal for young families and represents very good value for money, expect long waits at busy times though. We preferred The Brean Down Inn at the other end of the site, still good value with seating inside, conservatory, outside under shelter or outside in the open. Choice of beers and ciders is good! The top end of the site also has a takeaway to please even the fussiest teenagers. There are two shops on site, both well stocked, freshly baked croissants made a change from eggs and bacon. I cant think of any negatives for the site. We will be returning again.

We stayed on this site for two weeks in July. We enjoyed our stay so much we are considering returning next year. Very well kept and organised. Toilets and showers very clean. They even had a market in one of the fields on a Wednesday (I think it was) which as an added bonus. The food at the beachcomber was very good, and a good price. Good entertainment and drinks not too expensive. And the cost of the stay at the site was very reasonable. I would recommend this campsite.

On arrival at this site the reception is very smart and clean with excellent service. The pitches are large enough for unit, awning and car although pitches are very close together. The toilet block is very nice and very well kept, wardens/cleaners are very good, don't forget to have some 50p coins for the showers. The only problem I had with the toilet/shower block was with weekend campers who clearly don't think about other campers and the place can get a bit messy, not a complaint against the site or wardens but more against other campers. So come on you guys if you use it clean it! The other facilities on site were of a very high standard. A small shop selling all you would need, a fishing tackle shop, a caravan spares shop and an ice-cream shop all great. The Beachcomber club sells great food and drinks very competitively priced, no complaints here at all. I would definitely visit this site again.

Was a bit apprehensive on booking this site for my fortnights summer holiday, taking into account the reviews that was already posted and the fact that I had to travel quite a distance to get there. On arrival I was pleasantly surprised, the site looked really nice, clean and well organised, the toilet blocks new looking and spacious with piped music. The beach just over the road to walk the dogs. Walked to the Brean Down Inn on the night which is very dog friendly. Then the nightmare started. I've never ever been on a site with so much night time noise. So many ignorant people, all with families. No respect for your outfits space, children running round your caravan screaming and shouting all day and night, and I'm on about till 2am a couple of times, while the parents a few pitches away got more and more drunk and rowdy. Security was back and forth to noisy pitches. Felt sorry for the cleaners as the toilets were always left in a mess, unflushed, excrement on seats and floor etc.

We visited this site to kick off our 2015 camping season.
Booking in went smoothly, all very professional and we were given lots of information on activities and events both on site and in the local area, including that season's magazine. We had a great pitch at the edge of one of the fields and it was a nice size. There are playgrounds along the centre of the field with a good range of equipment for all ages.
The on site shop was good with lots of choice for gifts and snacks and magazines etc. The fish and chips from the on site takeaway were lovely and the pub was nice for a pint.
The local beach was OK, although there were a lot of dogs and a lot of dog mess which was quite off-putting. You also have to cross a road which isn't that busy but people do drive quite fast along it.
Brean attractions are about half an hour walk away (we were on the south side of Warren Farm) but there's not much for toddlers and it felt a bit tired - nothing worked in the Sooty exhibition.
We ate at the Seagull Inn which was good, pretty standard pub fare but absolutely huge portions.
We'll probably return but we'll most likely go out of season and wait until our toddler is a bit older.

When we arrived we didn't know what to expect, but on arrival were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the toilet/shower block and the whole site was so clean, pity we were just overnighting on way to Torquay. We are going to St Ives this June and after ten days there we are calling in on way north for a four night stay.
