May 2004 What an excellent site.
We loved the clean toilets, fantastic showers, large pitches, (although not must remember to park in front of van to allow more space to sit out), free washing machine, great kids park, and lovely and quiet.
I would recommend this site to anyone. Well done Lickpenny, thankyou.

June 2004 Loved the campsite. All hard standing and plenty of room between the pitches and set in lovely countryside. Toilets and showers were very clean, and there is also a family room/disabled shower which you don't have to keep pressing a button for. Laundry room for washing clothes had free washing machines, but the tumble dryers you had to pay for.
Kids loved the play area and there are several pitches which overlook the play area. Would definately go again.

June 04 Just got back from this site. We walked from it to Riber Castle yesterday (phew). The site facilities are extremely clean at all times and cannot be faulted. The pitches are all hard standing which for us is a shame as we prefer grass (cant please everyone). There are serviced (water) pitches up at the top which look nice and we would book next time we visit. The garden centre next to the site is well worth a visit and has a nice cafe.

Every weekend since March 04 What a wonderful clean site with helpful and friendly owners. The pitches are large with great views over the surrounding countryside. The facilities are spotless at all times, even on busy bank holiday weekends. I can not sing the praises of this site enough. The location, the pitches, the clean facilities and the owners make this site one of the best.

May-Day 2004 Both my friend & I visited this wonderfull site after seeing it on the web-site & reading visitors comments, it sounded very good but nothing like trying It for yourself eh? What a lovely place! We took our dog which was a blessing. The people at the site reception (Pamela) were very helpful, I even got a news-paper delivered to me "Sunday". The wash rooms & toilets were spotless ALL the time! with hard standing for all campers. A local car-boot sale on the Sunday was a delight coupled with the local "Pubs" selling gorgeous grub you couldn't go wrong; Highly reccomended! Mad Mick.

April 2004 Excellent well maintained site with very friendly and helpful owners. The shower blocks were very warm and clean. We stayed on one of the newly released super pitches with your own water tap etc and as these were quite high up they were very quiet but still convienient to the ameniety blocks and the childrens play area. We will stay at this site again.

November 2003 This site is the best site we have been on this year it has a wonderful layout with most of the pitches seperated by hedges. The pitches are large and well seperated from each other. Very little chance of any danger from fire or other perils from adjoinig pitches. The owners are realy helpful and the shower blocks warm and realy clean. We will certainly visit again in the near future.

September 2003 This is a very clean, tidy site, which has only been open 12 months or so. The toilets are absoulutely spotless, modern, with ample room in the showers, cubicles, etc. All pitches are hardstanding but are all separated by hedges, etc. There is a large green with a play area which is away from the pitches but you are able to see what your kids are up to! The owners are very friendly and relaxed which adds to the lovely feel of the site.
