Immaculate site - even with autumn leaf fall!
Facilities are spotless and feels very COVID safe.
Loads of lovely walks from the site if you're happy to explore.
Bus stop about 10min down the lane to go to Matlock.
Garden centre with lovely restaurant less than 5min walk from the entrance of the site.
Great Vodafone reception and 4G, Freeview signal a bit hit and miss.
Great play facilities for children and open spaces for family games.

This site is immaculate! Very well kept, a nice quiet site in beautiful surroundings.
The night we stayed a little pop up pizza tent was on site. A lovely little addition.
I would highly recommend this site and I would also return.

As previous reviews this site is set in a beautiful, park like setting with immaculate toilets and huge pitches.
Not a lot to do locally unless you are fit and prepared to walk or cycle everywhere.
No local pub and the nearest bus stop is about a mile away on a busy road, site is better suited to people with their own transport.
Nevertheless we had a pleasant, peaceful stay.
We caught the taxi there and back to Matlock on our second day(£7 each way).

We booked the site for two nights and wished we had booked for longer.
The site is beautifully laid out with each pitch separated by hedging.
Everywhere was well maintained and tidy and the staff were friendly and helpful.
We will definitely go back, for longer next time

This is an excellent site, the pitches are large and level. We were travelling with my sister and her husband and were on pitches that gave amazing views over the surrounding countryside.
At the end of every aisle there were recycling facilities, clean water, waste water and chemical waste disposal
There was a shop on site but we didn't use it so I can't comment, however the staff were very friendly and helpful, we had a pack of leaflets about surrounding places to visit given to us on arrival.
We visited Chatsworth and The Heights of Abraham while we were there.
I can recommend The Gate Inn for both food and drink.
There is a fish and chip van that is on site on Fridays and pizza van on Saturdays.
The toilets were excellent, always clean and warm.
We all agreed that we would return to the site as it was so good.
