Lovely caravan site. Well kept with great facilities and helpful staff.
Hard standings are easy to peg into and fully serviced pitches are a bonus.
Only a short walk to the village pub and shop. Definitely we will return.

Our first time to this site, easy to find by satnav,
We stayed on the adult area near to the dog walks
We found all facilities clean with sanitizer sprays,
We had a walk down to the local village only to find both pubs closed but had a nice walk around the area,
We decided to eat in the site café & had a lovely meal although it was very quite only four people eating,
Not far away is Rutland water so we went to Whitwell car park as it was suitable for our 7. 5mt Motorhome & even better the parking cost was the same as a car. had a good walk around part of the Res, until it started to rain heavily so had our lunch there then returned to the to caravan park,
We would recommend this site, but was told that it can get very busy & is fully booked over Xmas.
Only problem we found the Showers on two days were cold & was told the pump had failed & needed to get fixed, this was done the day before we left,
Price wise thought it was to dear for November.

A very pleasant stay at the site. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Pleasant walk along path into Greetham village. Two lovely pubs/hostelries.
Wheatsheaf is Michelin rated and food looked great, although we only had a drink here. Not currently open Monday or Tuesday, and Wednesday lunchtime.
The Plough is more of a traditional pub, and the food was excellent. Real ale choices available.
View website for opening times. Facilities on site include a swimming pool.
Plenty of areas to walk dogs.
Will definitely return in the future.

Just got back from a 6 night stay. We have been here several times now. We love the location of this site.
It's a short walk into Greetham which has two great pubs and a village post office that doubles as a small shop.
The camp has a few supplies in reception, a cafe and a small swimming pool (you need to book a slot).
We stay in the adult only field which has a fabulous toilet/shower block always clean and warm with a radio station playing in the background.
They have a great children's play ground and a good dog walking area.
Rutland is a grat place, we will definitely be returning.

Lovely site. Very friendly staff. Will definitely visit again.
Cafe took a very long time to serve at breakfast (on 3 tables seated so really quiet).

Just an overnight stay to break our journey but a very pleasant one! Great location not far from the A1 and handy for the beautiful towns of Oakham and Stamford.
A large flat site with adults only section. Pitches with power and water, some gravel some grass. Large modern and clean toilet blocks. Large wooded dog walking areas around the outside of the site.
Footpath to the pretty village of Greetham with two pubs which do food - a 5 minute walk.
Friendly and helpful staff and best of all.
A cafe on site which when we stayed was open 8am to 8pm with a very comprehensive menu! We had the best Sunday Roast we'd had for years.

We love this site and usually come at least once a year with our children and their families. We stay on the family field which has a children’s play equipment area in the middle, so the youngsters are safe and can be seen at all times.
It has a lovely indoor swimming pool which can be booked out in half hour slots either for exclusive use or to share with others,
There is also a very good cafe serving lovely food from 8am breakfasts to 8pm evening meals. The Sunday lunch was immense with massive Yorkshire’s and a huge portion of meat. The plots are large with all amenities connected.
The village of Greetham is only a short walk away and has two lovely pubs - The Plough (serving very good pub grub meals) and the Wheatsheaf which has a very good, high quality restaurant.
We’d recommend both with hesitation. Rutland Water is only a short drive away, as are the lovely towns of Oakham and Uppingham.
It goes without saying, we’d recommend his site 👍👍👌👌
