Lovely family campsite, security barriers on entrance, showers and toilets good, pub/restaurant on site serving beers and basic food, burgers pizzas, opening times could be better open Fri and Sat but closed on Sunday, which was surprising to me,
Pitch was at end of small field 172, we felt away from other campers, there is better ones!
Ashbourne about a mile away with couple of steep hills, other walks from camp as well to explore, staff friendly, playground and field for kids and also to walk dogs,
No ehu for tents, only so many for caravans/ camper vans,

Good sized pitches, great location by the tissington trail. Pub on site was great to grab a meal when we arrived.
Walked to Mappleton from the site for a pub lunch on the Saturday and then into Ashbourne in the other direction Saturday night.
Toilets/showers were reasonable and despite the size of the site had no queues.
Good playground for the kids and an inside room we didn't use.

Really likes Callow Top, it was peaceful, and not really many people about so early.
I would definitely stay again.
Toilets were clean, washing facilities were good.
Very nice for a relaxing break.

We found the camp site to have excellent facilities.
The camping pitch was stated as small when booking but it was a perfect size for a small family and the each pitch is separated by trees in field 1/2 which added a sense of privacy.
Swimming pool was great.
Thanks and will be booking again.

Just come back from 5 nights there. The site was spotless and always kept clean. The prices in the on site shop, restaurant and pub where really good especially for the quality on offer.
At the outside pool you would be forgiven for thinking you were at a quality campsite in france. In a 30 min radius by car there is endless activities to keep you entertained.
There is plenty to do in the local area on foot, but obviously the site is at the top of a hill, something to think about walking back!
The showers are 20p for 4 mins, this may put some people off, but in reality it isn't an issue and probably helps keep them free and clean. The showers are individual cubicles and there were always showers unoccupied without having to wait.
One thing I would like to add would be handwashing facilities next to the elsen point, without having to walk back round to the toilets. This is not a complaint but a suggested improvement for the owners.
Overall a great time for a good price :)

Amenities good and clean, perfect place for the kids, kids area and pool. Good base for cycling and walking and many places to visit.
Not the cheapest of places but you do get a pool, showers 20p, food and drink prices are similar to pub prices.
Pitches ok, flat in hard standing areas, tall thick edges protect you from strong winds.

Absolutely amazing holiday park. Great amenities with a lovely pub near garden to sit and relax.
Nice size pitches and a very relaxed atmosphere. Everything you need.
Local for walks or cycle trails. Recommend Tissington cycle trail.
Can’t wait to come back soon.

Staff helpful, site clean, swimming pool great, cafe food good and reasonably priced
But, Site very tired and needs an upgrade. Pitches tiny and closed in with no view surrounded by thick dark hedges. Drainage poor.
Expensive and not good value for money compared with other sites we have visited.
We will not return.
