This is an excellent campsite, I found it for a last minute booking and am glad I did.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, the facilities are excellent, very clean and modern. No children, so cannot comment on the play area but have two big dogs and this is one of the best sites I have visited for dog walking areas on site.
There is a pub 10 minutes walk from the site and a bustop at the entrance to the site; very useful if you have a motorhome.

We stayed for a week at this site as we wanted to visit the south coast and this particular site had such good reviews and we were not disappointed. It was central to all the areas we wanted to visit eg. Poole, Swanage, Bournemouth, Wareham etc. Bus stop just outside the main gates went to all of these places of interest so no need to move the motorhome. We did feel the buses could of run more frequent in September but was obviously not the fault of the campsite.
All staff we came across were very friendly and it was genuine not 'we have to be nice to customers'. We had a very generous pitch, well kept and close to the toilet facilities that were excellent. They were spotlessly clean, warm for the chilly evenings and mornings, and plenty of hot water. The dog walks were very well maintained as well as catering for a field that they could run there little legs off and supplying poo bags! The local pub which was recommended 'St Peters Fingers' allowed dogs in the bar area and the food was excellent. Went there 3 times. All in all an excellent week and would highly recommend this campsite to anyone that was camping in this area.

Lovely site. Staff very helpful and friendly. Extras such as hand cream in shower blocks were a nice touch and exceptionally clean. The whole site was full of lovely flower displays despite it being mid September. We had a 'super pitch', which included our own water, draining, TV point, bench type table and dustbin. This is luxurious camping. Bus stop right outside site. All information we needed, such as Market days, buses, local pubs, were available from the lovely staff. Grass was cut regularly and the staff never too busy to talk (Don't tell the Boss). We have stayed at Club sites around this price, but this was the best. Can't fault it. Keep it up guys. Thanks for a lovely stay.

If you are thinking of staying at a caravan park that is second to none then you must book your holiday here. The site is as near to perfection as you can make it. The site itself is kept to a superb standard, grass kept short. Flowers everywhere, in hanging baskets and even in vases in the shower blocks. The toilets and showers (free) are immaculate and a credit to the cleaners, there are free hair dryers and even complimentary hand and body lotion. I know of no other site that offers this. The site shop has all you need including fresh eggs from their own chickens and newspapers to order. We booked a deluxe pitch and we got just that. Picnic table and bench, electric hook up, tv connection with super signal, free wifi that was faster than my home broadband and even our own bin that was emptied every morning. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful or more friendly, I was particularly impressed by the young lad who seemed to turn his hand to anything. From mowing the grass. To serving in the shop or emptying the bins. His parents can be very proud of him.
I have three dogs and we were very impressed with the dog walk, poo bags were supplied and as far as I could see the dog walkers used this facility, a very large clean safe field where man's best friend can run amok.
I cannot comment on the surrounding area or the attractions as I did not use them, I went for a rest and to chill out in my caravan and this is precisely what I did. I cannot recommend this site highly enough and will be returning often, I have already booked for Christmas and cannot wait.

Just spent 2 great days at this site. Trying out our new smaller weekend tent.
Decided at the last moment to look for vacancy.
With in minutes everything was booked and the staff were so helpful.
Had stayed at this site for a week 2008, in our Montana 6 and thought the site was very good.
On arrival a member of staff showed us to our pitch, with EHU and TV (Because of Paralympics)
The toilet/shower/ family blocks looked just as new and clean as in 2008, hot water always available.
Just outside gates buses available for Poole, Wareham, Corfe Castle and Swanage.
A walk across the Paddock in one direction a Cafe and Craft Buildings, in the other direction a pub.
Site reasonably full but everyone quiet by 10pm.

Don't be put off by the old Google earth pictures of this site. It is wonderful. Nicely laid out, good pitches, fantastic facilities. The loos and showers are beyond clean! No grass, no mud! The kitchen area has washing up bowls and dish drainers - luxury. Everywhere is neatly labelled and on arrival you are met and taken to your pitch. Lovely off walk dog area - big change to many sites, also a short cut to the local Pub which was lovely. Voucher for complimentary wine or beer much appreciated.
The staff ( from cleaners to managers) were great, happy and helpful. Very impressed that some poor souls who had broken down and had long journey on tow truck had a cup of tea waiting for them in reception! Above and beyond call of duty.
Would recommend this site to all - not many kids when we stayed, but plenty for them to see locally, lovely beaches at Studland Head. Met some lovely people.
Little bit of traffic noise at night, but not enough to keep you awake.

This is the first time we have ever camped and now were hooked, having good weather helped. The campsite itself we found friendly and quiet apart from a bit of distant road noise. The toilet and shower blocks were excellent, clean and pleasant to use. The pitch we were put on had electric hookup and TV hookup it was at the far end of the site but the shower block was only a very short walk away. The criticisms we had and these are very minor is, the shop maybe opens a bit late and shuts early, as we are early starters were gone before it opened and back after it shut, as I say minor.
The other is the tent pitch we had was on a slight slope it would have been nice level, but we were the only tent on that part of the campsite because we had requested electric and the main tent field was full, it was probably best suited to motor homes/camper vans. Apart from my little nitpicks the site is fantastic and would recommend to anybody, hope to stay again but longer.
The area itself is perfect for Poole, Bournemouth and Portsmouth just a few miles away, an easy drive.

We really enjoyed our 5 nights here in August. The welcome was great, with the owner showing us to the pitch and pointing us to all the facilities.
The shower block was the best I've ever seen on a campsite. With three kids under 8 the family bathrooms made life so much easier. There was even a baby bath and the place was spotless.
The shop was well stocked with fresh bread daily and a newspaper ordering service. The kids loved buying corn for the hens, choosing sweets and playing in the games room whilst I was extremely grateful the shop included gaffer tape for repairing our ageing tent.
The location was perfect - we hsve joined the NT and so had free days on the amazing beach at Studland and enjoyed a day out on Brownsea Island. Note that Poole's town center car parks wouldn't fit a car with a roof box on but parking at the stadium was fine and an easy walk through the shopping area to the harbour.
We also took the steam train from the park and ride at Norden down to Swanage, stopping at Corfe Castle on the way back for a cream tea and then walking from Corfe back to Norden, about 20 minutes at child's pace.
A great campsite in a great location run by a friendly family. Its very civilised so might not suit if you want to stay up late. Pitches vary in size, so if you want more privacy book a big one. You can hear the bypass at the top of the site.

Not 5 star in our opinion.
Pitches very small and tired, lucky it was dry or you will be taking mud into your caravan, motorhome or tent. We did ask to move pitches as we weren't happy, and lucky they had another one. We think they cram too many people in.
We were in Lodge field and you can hear the traffic noise quite clearly and it can get loud.
Shower rooms could be better organised in the mens. Its not very comfortable having a shower next to the toilets if its occupied. Does get chilly in there as well. And the same in the ladies. They are clean but we did see lots of campers with the mop and bucket aiding this.
However its well placed to travel to Poole, Bournemouth and Swanage. Look for the saver tickets on the bus. It will save you a fortune.
Pub 10 mins walk away. Good food at a reasonable price.
We wouldn't go back again.

Really good campsite. Very clean and well looked after. Great kids play area, good little shop, very friendly staff and a great pub the St Peter's Finger just down the road serving great food. We had a great time now two years running. Thank you to all the staff. They also have a good pool room to entertain the kids and parents. There are also some good walks close by with a nice little cafe which servers a good full english breakfast
