What a fantastic site. Superb facilities, the toilet block was new, well equipped and always clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for exploring the local area. The kids play area was small but they enjoyed it. Had a really great time. Have recommended this site to all my fellow campers.

This was the first time we had stayed at this site and it was excellent. It was just what we wanted not too big / noisy but with good facilities and a friendly atmosphere.
The showers / toilets were kept very clean and there was always plenty of hot water. The washing-up / washing facilities were also good. We tended to shop off-site at one of the nearby supermarkets but the on-site shop had all the provisions to keep us going in-between.
We had a great week with plenty of places to visitand the weather was quite good for us, we will definitely recommend this site to friends and go back again with our children which includes teenagers so can't be bad!

Just returned from a weekend trip. Excellent site. Toilets are really nice and clean. Really good if you have kids - nice and big. The pitches are a good size and flat. Good friendly staff. Would definitely recommend the site to others.

We have just returned from a 3 day stay at this site. We really enjoyed our stay. This is only our second camping trip, but this site was how we imagined a site should be. We were in the large field. Plenty of space between pitches and nice and flat. In fact, we were advised to book two pitches as our tent is quite big (Diablo 600), but in actual fact we had enough room on one pitch. We were overlooking open fields which was lovely in the evening watching the sun go down with a glass of wine!
The shower block was spotless. Being quite fussy, this is a really important part of the site and I wasn't disappointed. Every time I went into the shower block it looked as though it had just been cleaned - having two small children, I wasn't worried about them using the toilets - I knew they would be clean. We only bought a couple of items from the shop but it seemed well stocked - quite pricey as you would probably expect. There is an excellent Tesco Extra at Fleets Corner roundabout if you need to get provisions. You are spoilt for choice with the surrounding area - so much to see and do. As we had good weather we spent much of the time on the beach (Knoll Beach on Studland, Branksome Chine & Sandbanks). We also drove to Swanage and got the steam train to Corfe Castle which is a family favourite. All in all I would recommend this site to everyone, if we weren't moving to Poole ourselves next year we'd definitely be staying here again!

We have just spent a week at this site. Excellent new shower/washing up facilities and shop. Very friendly, helpful staff. Large flat pitch. Only a couple of problems for us - couldn't get our freezer packs frozen as the freezer was always too full, also, we were in the top field which is near quite a busy road, traffic noise did keep us awake, but this may not bother everyone.

This site is great, there were a few problems when we were there with the fields due to the exceptionally wet weather, but the staff were friendly and helpful and everything was sorted out with no fuss. Very helpful when we amended our dates, which is exceptional considering it was peak season. Great pitches, very large and can accommodate even the largest tents easily. Good shop, camping basics available together with a range of basic provisions. Toilet facilities were fabulous and I have never been to a site in 30 years of camping with such great facilities, family rooms are good too, even have baby baths available. Mops available so showers were always immaculately clean, always had hot water, toilets always clean with decent loo paper in abundant supply, flowers and piped music too! Good washing up facilities. Never seemed too busy as we were in the top field and only catered for a small section of the site as there are two further blocks. The farthest one of these is due to be refurbished shortly as it is still the original block. Good play park and games room. Only complaints are that the road was a little noisy in the top field , although they management would be happy for people to request alternative pitches, the freezer is just too small to cope and we didn't always get our ice packs frozen, and there is only one grey waste and chemical toilet emptying point at the main central toilet block which is quite a way from the top fields or the very bottom field. That said we would definitely recommend this site and go back again, probably next year!

Just back from this very pleasant site. Sister stayed end July, was in bottom tent field and wasnt very impressed - partly due to weather, but also felt far away from play area, shop etc. This time, we both went and requested pitch near the play area which we duly got! Toilet facilites superb, only minor critiscism would be that the family bathrooms could do with being just a few feet bigger - its a bit crowded in them, but that's a minor gripe. Shop good, games room good idea - teens seemed very happy with it, play area good - and it quietened down from about 9.45pm. Used the local chinese (menu in the games room) - fantastic value, hot and very tasty. Sandbanks beach was fab - Monkey World excellent too - got the coach from outside the campsite but only just got a seat - sister had to have her child on her lap! Would def go back!

Brilliant campsite. Highly recommended toilet blocks always clean and tidy. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. No problems with. The pitches are a good size and well marked out so big tents can be catered for. I would stay at this site again but I would ask not be put in the main camping field again as this acts as a wind tunnel where the field is so open and with the weather we have been having of late our tent took a bit of a hammering. Also quite a trek for water and the toilets especially late at night.

Lovely quiet site. Made to feel very welcome. Staff very friendly and helpful. Despite the bad weather we had an enjoyable four days at the site. We had a few problems setting up our TV. Despite the staff being very busy they still had time to help us sort our problem out. Lovely clean toilets and warm showers. Newspapers were on sale in the shop. Didn't use the breakfast service but the smell of bacon was lovely. Nothing negative to say. We will definitely be going back again.

We have been camping for twenty years and before that as a child. But this year we came to Lytchett Manor. I must say in all the years we have been camping this was a very wonderful holiday . The toilets were so good, we always use our own but not this year. The site was so quiet. We will be going back next year.
