Very well maintained site. The shower block was clean and warm, although with only 2 showers means queuing at busy times. Nice touches like fresh flowers, piped music and cloths to clean basins.
Local pub St Peters finger(only 5mins walk across field) served great food.
The bus stopped right outside the site which was a great way to travel around. Wareham has a nice pub The Quay Inn by the river.
Only grumbles would be the noise from the main road which continued all night, noise from the gravel roads ( especially late at night when cars returned back) and noise from the school football pitch, which thankfully wasn't every night.
However this would not put us off returning.

We have just returned from a week at Lytchett Manor. What a wonderful site, very friendly owners and staff made us feel very welcome. Cleanliness second to none in toilet blocks and attention to detail ie; soft music playing while you shower etc, hand sanitizer at elsan points (never seen this before)
Maintenance on park impressive, grass cutting, sweeping of roadways, bin emptying. Small shop on site, newspapers can be ordered daily, fresh free range eggs available from on site chickens. Bus stop at entrance. Nice large dog area where dogs can run free. Short walk to village pub across park. In fact this is one of the best sites out of the many that we have stayed on and we certainly recommend it and will definitely return.

We stayed here when it first opened in March. The people were lovely and the campsite was great. The shop was well equipped with all sorts, food, camping equipment, drinks - you name it - they had it. The toilet and shower blocks were immaculate and clean and even had fresh flowers in. There was a room at the side for dishwashing etc and it was all new and beautifully kept. The pitches were large and the site was kept beautiful. I cant praise this campsite enough. It is literally five minutes drive from the centre of Poole and there was a craft fair at the end of the campsite.

You get a lovely Greeting at reception and then when you get to your pitch one of the wardens guides your unit onto it. The winter pitches are reasonably spaced and have water, electric and tv on each pitch but no drainage (They do have super pitches but I think most of these are seasonal pitches ). Everything is immaculate and nothing seems to be a problem for the friendly staff. There is a nice little shop at reception, selling most of the essentials plus fresh eggs from their chickens.
Opposite the reception is an information hut / internet hut ( There is supposed to be wifi throughout the site but reception was sketchy at best ), behind reception was a games room.
There is a bit of road noise which I wasn't really expecting. But the proximity of Sandbanks, Bournemouth, Poole, Lulworth castle and cove, monkeyworld etc, etc almost make up for it.
The winter amenities block is heated, nicely tiled, has piped music and is again spotless day and night. The free showers are powerful and have temperature control. They are push button but not the annoying 5 second variety.
The groundstaff and wardens obviously work very, very hard to maintain The site to this standard and are a credit.
The pubs in the village are both very nice ( although they are both food biased ). The Bakers Arms definitely wins on food quality ( but is more expensive ) whereas the free bottle of wine you get with a meal in St Peters Finger wasn't the vinegar I expected and the real ales went down very well thankyou very much !

Well in this review less means more!
Stayed at the site 6 years ago with our folding camper and loved it, went back this year with our new caravan.
The entrance gates are like entering into a château, just inside the is a reception area where there is a small shop that provide those essentials and games room, information room. The staff are friendly and helpful.
There are 1/2 gravelled pitches electric and TV connection as well as full grass pitches, and wifi are available around the site.
The toilet block near reception is the best I have seen and has disabled access.
The site is kept tidy and clean by an efficient and proud team.
There play area for children.
Bus stop outside and St Peters Finger Pub with very good food is a short walk away in the village. Even had food there on a day trip 2 weeks ago.
When we come back from France we will be visiting again.

We stayed here for 2 nights last year and its a lovely site.
We were shown to our pitch and told which way to pitch, we were on the edge of the main tent field with our back to the hedge. Nice distance away from our neighbours and allowed to park the car right beside us.
The site is immaculate and the shower and toilets are kept spotless and warm. There are washing up facilities and lots of bins dotted all round the site, picnic benches are made available for use too.
The games room is pretty small but we had a good few games of Pool, there are freezers in the games room for your ice blocks.
The shop is great, well stocked and fairly reasonable. We walked to the pub about 20 minutes away and took a voucher for a free bottle of wine, even though it was out of season and the offer had actually finished, the pub honoured our voucher and the food was excellent, huge portions.
We were very lucky and had glorious weather, OH and I even managed a kick about, there is a lovely big field to the left of the gate for that purpose, saves getting tents hit by stray balls!
The staff here were really nice, very helpful and polite, we even had a visit later on on our first day to make sure we were set up and happy.
We would definitely return to this site if we were ever in the area again. We didn't use EHU here as we didn't have one at the time we were there but even going back with a larger tent and larger set up, we think it would be just as enjoyable as the first, plenty of room for the larger tents and you arent crammed in like sardines, always a bonus!

Lovely campsite, very friendly wardens, couldn't be more helpful.
Light bollards could have been a little to one side of the pitch to throw some light on the site as the site was a little dark when walking the dog at night.
The local pub quite far to walk to on a dark night but the bus is right outside the gate.
You get a voucher for a free bottle of wine with 2 main meals from the campsite.
The showers are very clean and new looking with piped music. Lovely.
There is a laundry costs 3. 75 for a wash and 2, 50 for a dry which isnt bad these days.
We went to Poole on the bus which took about 15 minutes.
The pitches are gravel with water and tv point so you don't have to worry about an ariel.
I would use this site again

I have been caravanning for six years and use a mixture of 'caravan & camping club' sites & smaller private sites. This site is one of the best we have stayed at.
The positives :-
Easy access from the main road & dead easy access to the large well drained level pitches.
Friendly helpful & kind staff. They were both kid and dog friendly.
The grounds are superbly kept & the toilets are very very clean. We visited in October and found the warm toilets and warm wash room to be a big plus point.
Free internet, fresh eggs from the site chickens, and fresh flowers in the toilets were nice touches.
Negatives:-
Slight road noise on the first nine or ten pitches that were closest to reception. (the upside though is that these pitches benefit from great wifi coverage)
The wash area that we used nearest reception was warm and very very clean but did get a bit cramped.
Anything else would be just being picky!

First time at this camp site. What can we say that has not been said before. Lovely pleasant people, brilliant pitching, wonderful showers and toilets.
Amazing washing up facilities; indoors, heated, piped music which varied at different times of the day and every sink had a plug, bowl, drainer and clothes !
There were even flowers in the public phone booth!
And yes we used the bus service to Swanage and Weymouth. Good fun, £6. 50 an adult return for each 1 hour journey. Made friends with the chickens and brought their eggs.
Local pub (and voucher) great.

Chose this site because it was near to Poole and where pleased we did. It is as good as the best Caravan Club Sites but much more relaxed and very friendly. Ideal for access to Poole by bus from the gate. An all day ticket at £3. 70 will take you as far as Bournemouth.
We took the motorhome off site to visit Swanage 15 miles away and returned via the ferry to Sandbanks (£3. 50 under 3. 5 Tonne).
Sandbanks Beach has ample parking (In September) along the road or in the car park where there are three dedicated spaces for motorhomes the parking fee is the same, either on the road or in the car park.
I can't remember the cost but quite reasonable.
Loved the site and loved the area.
