Had a wonderful 5 day break at South Lytchett Manor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were just as described - very clean toilet & shower block.
The dish washing area was really bright and lovely too with lots of hot water. Due to the weather being so poor the ground was a little 'soft' and the staff requested they be allowed to pull us off the pitch so as to reduce the damage to the grass area - we were more than happy about this as one pitch user had really churned the ground up leaving an awful mess.
The use of the bus directly outside the gates was also a bonus as we could leave the car on site. There is a pub within walking distance and the food it lovely.

Had a wonderful weekend away over the Jubilee weekend in June. Our pitch was in the first large field on the left and I was surprised about how much space we had.
The facilities were the best that we've stayed at. Lovely and clean and not too much of a queue in the morning. Also the washing up area was fantastically spotless.
The shop was great and stocked all those vital ingredients that you might just run out of, bread, milk, butter and of course wine!
A short walk away is a lovely little pub called St Peters Fingers which is very child friendly and reasonably priced. Nearby Moors Valley Park is a great day out for all the family.
Would highly recommend this campsite and would hope to go back again in the very near future.

Stayed over the Jubilee weekend with a group of 3 other families. We stayed in the meadow field and were impressed with the wide pitches and the way it was clearly marked out. You do get some road noise here but being from South London, this didn't bother us and besides which the crows drowned it out.
The other nice point to note is that despite being the Jubilee weekend and turning away bookings, they hadn't crammed everyone in and left a lovely playing area complete with football goal and badminton net.
The staff were the best we have come across and we have been camping for several years. They have printed directions to the nearest supermarket and happy to give advice.
There is a good fish and chip shop nearby which does huge home made fishcakes and we tried both pubs which are within walking distance and found the staff at St Peters Finger really helpful in trying to accommodate a party of 19.
The staff work hard in keeping the site clean, the facilities were immaculate no matter how early or late we used them and even on a busy weekend I didn't have to queue for a shower.
The on site shop is well stocked and the kids loved the pick and mix and the selection of toys which were reasonably priced. We all want to come back here.
Moors Valley Park is a good day out about 20 mins drive away and Brownsea Island is worth a visit too.

Another lovely visit to this great park. It was the hottest weekend of the year and we were expecting it to be busy - it was quite busy for the touring part but we stayed in the Minster Field and it was almost empty.
The first class facilities were perfect as always, showers clean, hot water plentiful and the staff friendly and helpful. Even accommodated our extra car (at the last minute we couldn't find the roof rack brackets!) with no fuss.
Have booked to go again in June with the family across two plots - they were very helpful ensuring we have two plots together.

Would like to add my thanks to the staff and fellow campers that added to our holiday. We did a three day trial run as 'newbie' campers. The clean, close washing facilities in the camp site where excellent.
We had no problems with the electrical hookup and the staff showed us to our pitch in the pouring rain. We found the staff relaxed and open in a way you can be when you know you run a tight ship.
We found the Knoll Beach (National Trust) was perfect for our family needs, with parking backing up to the beach, a cafe and a shop.
The most compelling thing to say about it was that we booked in for a week in August before we left.

Just returned from a weeks stay at this site. As all the other reviews state the site is spotless and the staff very friendly and helpful.
They do try to allow you as much privacy as possible, even in the open field, by telling you which way to pitch so strangers don't face you but I found this a little annoying. I think you should be able to pitch in whatever direction you want. We were told to pitch facing into the wind which unfortunately, as you will read, was not a good idea.
There is a little park there, for quite young children, but all our children would end up there in the evenings to meet their friends and then go off exploring the site. Its a very safe site and the staff keep an eye on the children wandering around even though its not their responsibility.
The shop was well stocked and there is a huge Tescos a couple of miles up the road. We didn't get chance to explore the area as much as we would have liked as the weather was so bad so didn't see any of the beaches except for swanage which is a lovely old fashioned seaside resort and just a few miles away.
It was a good stay and would definitely go back it was just unfortunate that we experienced the worst weather I have ever had whilst camping and I have been camping for over 30 years!
We were pitched in the large field with no cover from wind and facing into the wind and unfortunately our tent poles snapped during the night resulting in an early departure.

Cannot really add much more to what has been said! Faultless apart from the weather!
Very helpful even when we had a struggle with our tent as one of the metal connectors snapped, however a fellow camper was even more helpful with a 'copper tube' which made a brilliant stopgap repair to get us over our stay!
The local pub was very nice with its wine (from voucher) and lovely food.
Very clean and very efficient site!
The site is located very well for visiting many attractions, we managed Corfe Castle, Swanage and Bournemouth but if better weather we would have managed many more.

This is the first time we have visited this campsite and the staff were so helpful when I made the booking it gave me a very good first impression. I am glad to say that we were not disappointed on arrival. There is a lovely entrance and a very friendly welcome from the staff who directed us where we needed to go and gave us all the useful information we needed.
The pitches were very spacious and set up in an orderly way so there could be no problem with encroaching on others.
The toilet block and facilities including washing etc were better than most we have ever experienced in this country. Very well maintained and cleaned regularly. Added extras there for your use as well, wash up bowls cloths etc.
Weatherwise this was one of the worst weeks we have had and unfortunately the large field does not have the protection from the wind and we had to leave a day early but who expects gale force gusts in June!
Will definitely re-use this site when we visit this area again. Would recommend to all.

Perfect site clean well kept perfect showers hard to fault it. Been several times before only fault is that it can be too busy in peak times. Good pitches are near the play area but can be too much if you don't have children. Rear fields only open in the main season but give good size pitches. Grass kept short and tidy plenty of water stands. Good for dogs nice walks within the site. Pub walking distance coffee shop and small shops 200 yards away and don't have to cross a road. Well stocked site shop. You can spend a day on site and not be bored

This is a fairly big site, attractively laid out and well looked after, with plenty of space between pitches, good, clean showers and a decent dog exercise area. We were offered a fully serviced pitch for our three nights, but we declined this time, favouring a grass pitch but we might do this in future as a picnic table was included which saves messing about with the caravan table. The staff/owners were very friendly and helpful and it's a fairly short, safe walk to the local pub. Poole is just a few miles away and beautiful, dog friendly Branksome Chine just a little further. Lulworth Cove was about 14 miles away. We would definitely come back although I think the trees might shade some of the site a fair bit in the low seasons.
