The site is mostly based around one curved road with facilities in middle and each end. No problem with facilities. For some reason it is a friendly site, clients and staff. Reception very helpful.
The pitches are fairly close together with no barriers between, but this caused us no problem. Grey water has to be taken to chemical waste area, some sites have drains between each pair of pitches these days.
The dog walking areas appeared ideal and there is a picnic area at the far end of the drive.
The reception shop and cafe is a gem. You can get a bargain late PM with on site baked items.
The local pub in the village does excellent food, not the cheapest, but a discount is offered for campers.
The Wifi is slow but it works.
TV and DAB radio is zero, with our aerial anyway. No doubt some units would work well. There are aerial leads on the bollards but we had left our lead behind, so.
At night the site lighting is a little sparse, lights on speed bumps only as far as I could see. Bear in mind if camping.

Lovely helpful staff. Great shop and cafe and okay washrooms.
Unfortunately we were given a pitch on the main drag which meant a lot of site traffic going past. Not really a problem as we were not in during peak in and out times.
The main issue was uncontrolled children on bikes etc who has absolutely no road sense. Several times during our 5 night stay we saw near misses.
I booked two west facing pitches for us and our daughter and also asked if we could pitch awning to awning. When we booked they said ‘yes’, on arrival ‘no’ although someone we met was allowed to do it as a returning guest? We did get our west facing pitches but no one mentioned the trees blocking the sunset.
Not sure I would return as too many pitches for our liking but if we did definitely a fully serviced pitch down on the right by the stream although of course no sun in the evening.
Great location for exploring the area.

Excellent site for getting to Poole with bus stop outside.
Staff Excellent and very helpful a credit to the site. Cafe near reception a good idea as is fish n chip van Tuesday and Thursday with a pitza van another day.
Well thought out.
Too any children running along the roadways as though parents just let them run wild (think might be an idea of putting matured people together away from the kids).
A lit of noise around the shower/toilet blocks at night with the children running around frantic.
Would I come back oh! Definitely yes.
Beautiful site 👌 😍

Very nice site toilets and shower block clean and tidy with unisex facilities for couples also.
Very nice shop near gate with fresh baked bread, only a short drive from main attractions and places to visit.
Only one draw back for us was why are all sites using hard standing for awning area I like most found it difficult to knock awning pegs in.
However we would definitely recommend this site and stay again but you need to make your own entertainment

Absolute brilliant site. Great dog field to let dogs off lead.
Great on site shop with everything you will need plus fresh bread and local produce.
Breakfast van nice touch. Pizza van on Saturday Night.
Safe place for our older children to run about they made loads of new mates on the football field.
Great staff we don’t usually do camping as a family and we loved it 5 star site.

The site is fantastic - a very warm welcome and even led to our nice roomy pitch by Phil on his bicycle! Facilities were great and the toilets and showers constantly being cleaned. Very well stocked shop on site too, (loved the pasties and sausage rolls) although we did get caught out just once as the opening hours changed after the BH weekend and we hadn't realised, but no drama.
We had a nice big pitch with plenty of room and it was nice and level which is spot on for an inflatable tent. We could hear the bypass, but when camping we always use ear plugs so no worries there. Loved the pond and small wooded area which was avaible to walk through, and the site was only a short stroll to 2 nearby pubs which did good beer and food. Plus the bus stop outside was very handy and we used it to get to Wareham, Poole, and Corfe castle.
Site was very busy as we were just coming to the jubilee bank holdiday weekend when we arrived, but after a few days the field we were in was nearly empty. Staff were friendly and helpful, even refusing to sell us ant powder when we gained some uninvited guests one night, because Phil said that unless we had brought them with us, then they were their ants and therefore they would deal with them :)
We would definitely stay at the site again and would recommend it, however next time we would ask for a pitch well away from the off-lead dog field. Great if you are a dog owner, but if you're not, then being next to the gate to the field was not ideal with a fair number of pooches wishing to inspect our BBQ skills on their way for a runaround, plus their owners letting the gate slam early mornings and very late evenings so waking us up - same for the metal lid of the poop bin which was only a hedge-width away from the back of out tent. Next time we must pack the heavy-duty earplugs!
I would love to try out the glamping in the shepherd huts because they just look great, so we'll check them out next time.

Lovely site, beautifully maintained. 2 pubs within walking distance.
Dog friendly, facilities were very clean & showers were very good.
Home made bread & croissants available daily from the on site shop.
Very friendly staff & the sun shone continuously which always helps.

One of the bests sites we have stayed at and we have stayed at quite a few. Staff where very friendly and very helpful.
They have thought of luxurious things like personal unisex shower rooms with toilet and sink.
The warden takes every guest to their pitch and assists in positioning their units for best experience for their stay.
There is the biggest off lead dog exercise area I have seen. Half the width of a football pitch wide and the length of three pitches
The gardeners where constantly busy making sure the the whole park was ideal.
Fresh home made bread and cakes every day. Fish and chips on site on Thursday. Pizza's cooked on site on Saturday.
Would we stay here again. You bet we will

We had 10 lovely nights here in our 5th Wheel caravan on a fully serviced pitch.
The staff are really welcoming and the shop stocks most essentials.
Fresh baked croissants in the morning are fab.
I think its all been said before so I will just say if you are visiting the Poole area this site needs to be to be one of your first choices.
